@xXSlayer77Xx: Yeah, I'll be asleep and then at work too but this is pretty goofy considering there was an outage for maintenance just a few weeks ago. This shouldn't be a monthly occurrence. I hope they're actually doing something useful like adding servers.

@cornunderscore2x: You see, that's the funny thing. The LIVE servers aren't actually down. MS just needs to redirect them to perform DDOS attack on Konami Servers.

I like to think "maintenance" is a code word for banhammering XBL squeakers.

But then I go into a server and realize how wrong I am.

@schizorogue: Yup, can't remember the last time they went down twice in such quick succession. Still...rather this than 2-3 weeks of broken online play, like we got at Christmas

well, it's not going to bother me at least, i'll be too busy having my spanish teacher yelling at me and almost everyone in my spanish 3 class for not participating and saying spanish sentences and answers to spanish text i can't even read that well 10 times a day every damn day

This is most likely due to the release of GTA IV on 29th. The LIVE servers will be bombed with nukes the following days. If you thought COD4 around christmas made a stir, wait until everyone gets a copy of GTA IV.

Let's just hope they can keep the servers online and running this time.

It's only been a couple of weeks since the last one. I agree it's probably due to the bombing they'll get for GTA but COME ON! I want my spring update before it's summer already. I also want it to be more than a rudementary dashboard clean up.

Ah, so that's why I was signed out of Xbox live last night. Didn't bother me at all, I was just playing Oblivion, but now I know it wasn't my router restarting or something.

Well geterdone and move on with it microsoft! Oh yea how bout givin my friend his $50 back for not activating his 360 live card. And no ppl he was not banned. They just never activated his account. Nuff said.

Good. I wouldnt mind Live being down for 72 hours if it meant my Live woes would end. I hate Live so much its not funny. I actually had a better online experience on a 56k modem on my sweet sweet Dreamcast. I would tell you what my woes are but I'm actually doing everything in my power not to throw my Xbox off the balcony, and I dont want to push it.
