I must be sick. I'd consider myself a hardcore gamer, I love the GTA series and am dying to play IV. However, I'm not buying this day one. I made a deal with myself that I can only buy it when I find a new job. It's a sad day for me and my thumbs.

I hope there's no violence because people want to act out. The Halo 3 launch (the only midnight launch I've ever been too) went over with no issues so here's to hoping for another safe mega-launch.

Am I the only one that isnt going to run out and grab it immediately? GTA was always fun but it was never quite 60 dollars fun. That and I played the last ones on the PC and I want this one on the PC :D

The question on *everyone's* mind, I think, is, given the new and far more interesting activities to do in the air, like flying helicopters, what will become of the nearly-flightless training rig which became such a thrilling end-game oddity in GTA3? I sold my 360 a few months ago. I'm getting a PS3. I really want to wait for the MGS4 80GB DS3 bundle.

But that comes out in two months.

Now, I COULD get the 40GB this month but miss out on the DS3, MGS4 and PS2 b/c for only $100 more.

Nice. I wonder if this game will be buyable at all at launch. I managed to find Halo 3 without a preorder but that required driving to a store in the middle of no where.

EBgames is doing midnight release at a bunch of the stores. They are also give 20% bonus on trade ins right now if you put it towards gta4. not trying to sound like an advertisement but I was just there paying for the rest of my copy today.
