So this kid, he likes Nintendo. And one day, he finds himself in an underground car park, with an RC car and around a gagillion empty wine bottles lying around. What's he do? He does what any of us would do, and combines the lot to belt out possibly the most wonderful rendition of the Mario theme you'll ever need to hear.

FUCK!!
Awesome.
Performance Art FTW!!!
Oh man that is some serious hardcore talent there with the setup.
Security Guard at the End:
"That'll do, pig. That'll do."
Simply amazing.
DEAR GOD!...that was amazing!
I gotta pass this around.
And somehow 1UP this...no no...
5UP
Brilliant!
The expression on the security guard: bewilderment.
@Kiriphii: Agreed. Exactly what I was going to say.
He must have been smashed. Drunk driving mini game confirmed.
Hmm... If He's just a kid, how did he get so many wine bottles? Still, Good display of ingenuity!
That is the freakin' GREATEST THING I'VE EVER FREAKIN' SEEN!!!!!!!!
best mario theme. ever.
I think he and his friends went through all of that wine the week before they did this.
I'm having trouble wrapping my head around the source of motivation one draws from for this type of exploit. Does a person just wake up with unprovoked inspiration roaring inside them? Seriously, this one is way out there.
Epic. That was awesome.
I am in awe. Excellent use of time, bottles and a remote controlled car.
My God that was good.
That was pretty impressive.
well that made my day. now I can go to bed happy :)
It never amazes me how many different ways people think of performing this classic tune.
This proves how much of a musical genius you are, Koji Kondo.
This one has such an interesting, classy sound to it. CLASSY!
@Nexus6:
Super Smashed Bros. Lawl
There will be a world when mothers sing Mario theme song for lullaby....
How is that not followed by thunderous applause?
Fuck that kid.
Hes amazing.
I wish I had an RC car and a million bottles of wine laying around for no other reason but for me to ROCK
Oh my jesus christ that was fantastic. I literally have a huge stupid smile on my face now.
...that unzipped my head, and blew my frickin' mind.
I can just picture the security guard at the end saying, "our princess is in another castle!"
lol awesome work there
verry nice..
never thought i'd see an original way to play the mario tune after so many years..
Impressive
That was awesome!! I heard they speak Chinese with a mainland accent, from Bejing maybe?
Way too much time, way too much awesome.
That was awesome, though I would probably still have this crazy smile on my face if they just ran the car into all the bottles, I still think it was cool. Though, I'll probably wake up tomorrow and see a video posted of some Japanese guy speeding by giant wine glasses in a 747 down an airstrip in Tokyo.
not enough words in the world to describe this.
That was incredible.
The bits where it starts to echo are kinda creepy sounding.
I look at this, in all it's awesome glory, and yet can't help but thinking how much I would hate that kid if I were trying to park and he was dicking around with bottles and toys.
im going to give you a ticket for going 5-8 miles per hour and also druck drive. great mario song.
I thought I'd seen it all when it came to the mario theme with that telsa coil thing.
I was wrong. That was awesome.
I wish I emptied those bottles of wine.Since there's no word to describe this level of greatness I'm going to make one up...awemegasuptacular.
I dont know how he even managed to use water to balance out the notes, must have taken a hell of a lot of time. 1UP!
Now play it backwards. Just drive back the other way through the bottles. PLEASE play it backwards.
Man, I thought I'd seen the most creative ways this song could be played & now THIS. Just wow. The acoustics in the garage make the sound that much greater.
@Fut: I kinda think of it like the recent installation piece made from the first level of SMB - where the background was a static strip with the TV and Mario moving along it.
This is also reminiscent of rhythm games and music-making software, which represents notes, beats or sounds as objects on a rail that move past the zone which 'strikes' and activates them.
Actually, come to think of it, should there be a GH or DDR reference in the title or tags?
How the frick do you figure things like this out? People like this make me feel stupid. Darn you awesome people.
at the start, it was very neat, but in the end, it just turned into a bunch of jingles and jangles.
Bravo. Awesome. Amazing. Orgasm. In that order.
that was absolutely brilliant!
Simply THE best rendition ever created.
Bravo to you sir.
Makes me want to tune-up my RC car and... No... no it doesn't, I'm just not that awesome.
Wow, it is actually possible to get tired of that tune.
Greatest combo of booze, video games and music EVAARRR!!!!
That was the most original and amazing Mario theme ever! My hats off the the people who pulled that off.
Congrats kid, you win teh internet
My god.. Someone pay the man!

That was a really amazing and unique rendition. I'm impressed he found the time to tune all the bottles and set it up properly.

Hahahaha this just made my night/week/life.
Wow
Alright, if a kid can do this with an R/C car and wine bottles, someone needs to do this with a real car and kegs or wine casks. Hope they're thirsty too.
If anyone were to ask me what e differences are between men and women, I'd simply point to this video and tell them that guys find this kind of thing awseome.
Did I saw awesome? I meant FUCKING AWESOME!
I actually smiled. Havn't done that in a long time thanks Kotaku.
If only I weren't tone deaf, I would've done something better imho.
/jealous
actually, yes it is all kind of awesome.
*checks*
still jealous.
This post wins the Internet today. Period. PROPS!
Now do the theme from The People's Court!
Seriously one of the coolest things I've ever seen.
Simply awesome.
crazy, only in china :P
I was hoping the security guard at the end would just turn evil and stomp on the car screaming "SCHOOLS OUT SON!!MUHAHA".
yes Yes YES YES!!!! oh man I need a ciggarette.
