Not real. Pffft. What the hell do I know. Turns out that Bluetooth MGS4 headset is real, as over the weekend we learned that the product is not only already appearing in the catalogue of peripheral manufacturer PDP, but has also begun turning up in retail databases across Europe and the US. You can see above part of the entry in PDP's latest retailer catalogue (full-page version after the click), which not only confirms the headset's existence, but its feature set as well. For $60, you'll be getting up to 8 hours talk time, a 30ft range, an auto-shut-off function to save battery life and a snazzy little carry case. The headset will be released on June 12, same day as the game itself.

I want this if not for the cool factor while playing on my hardly used PS3. I play on XBL wayyyy to much. But I am getting MGS4 and soon HOME when ever it launches. So I am off on the hunt to find it localy before I hit the inter-webs. Thanks for the update.

After every MGS4 and GTA4 post I read, I look at my money and cry. I wish my money would stick to me, but Rockstar and Konami have a cash magnet which keeps attracting it towards them.

Looks much nicer than the headset from the Warhawk bundle. I might end up getting this or I might just go for a retail bluetooth headset. I haven't quite decided yet.
I'm tempted, but this is useless for gaming since my setup has me wearing headphones 100% of the time. So it would only be good to use with my cell phone. Hmm...

Ok, I won't get the game, mostly because I don't have a PS3, but I will TOTALLY buy one of those so I can use it for my cell phone. If its like my 360 headset, I'm already sold.

Sounds good. But Sony need to put a headset, of any kind, in the PS3 box as standard.
Playing the PS3 online is too often a quiet experience (not always a bad thing , mind you.)

Holy shit. 60 bucks. That is way overpriced. I paid like 15 for mine and it does the exact same thing. Love the design though......I might break down at some point and buy it.

Considering yesterday I just bought a BT Logitech Cordless Vantage for my ps3, I guess I need this for my cell phone lol.

That looks badass. Now they need to add a light for when its on and the perfect place for that would be in a similar place of where the light of the Solid Eye is.
Thank god this is a pelican product (they are shit btw) but since i work at GameStop (hfs someone shoot me) i will be pickin this gadget up with my discount. Woah...that looks pretty cool. But, not going to get it with so many bluetooth headsets I have laying around the house. Now if they make a SolidEye patch and you have a second screen on there....that would be cool.
Bluetooth Headsets fries Your brain. I cant use mine more than 30 sec without feeling pain.
