I received a big, flat square box in the mail today packed with Grand Theft Auto IV swag. It included some pretty funny stuff:
A Swingers baseball cap
A Swingers baseball T
Two GTA IV stickers
A foam GTA IV four-finger
A mousepad from in-game cybercafe tw@
An I <8LC lapel pin
A N1KO license plate
Now I just need to figure out if I should give this stuff out on the site or keep it for this year's Funde Razor Child's Play party as a giveaway.
If you're jonseing for GTA content with about two weeks left till the game hits hop over to our round up of impressions and details.

The Shocker....
HOLY CRAP FOAM FINGER!!!
I want that. Bad.
My suggestion, eBay it for Funde Razor while GTA4 mania is in full bloom. Everyone wins ... some fan get's awesome stuff, Funde Razor gets to give more money to Child's Play.
Or, better yet, have a public auction in a thread -- that would be fun to watch :D
What no game? I think they are holding back on you.
KK
God i know i don't ask much but could you please convince Bash to throw this into a contest involving kittens?
Two in the pink, one in the stink. The next GTA game is going to probably have a baby with a ball-gag in its mouth as promo in order to keep the shock value ascending.
The word "Bribery" comes to mind.
@Kandoh: 2 IN THE PINK, 1 IN THE STINK
What thats it? Time for bad review
This has me thinking...how long until we see a news report of a hit and run where the witness states that the license plate said "Liberty City"
tw@! Classic! I agree, now would probably be a good time to put it out there.
It's pretty awesome that you're even considering doing that. Once again proving that "those that have, give more." I keep trying to tell my friends that when we get into deep conversations such as, "Is it Christian to be rich."
ANYWAY, awesome stuff and awesome ideas.
KK
Oh,I want the license plate soooo bad.(Looks around office for stuff to trade..)
How about a dress up as Niko contest? lol
@Kanik: HAHA! I'd so put it on my car for a day or two.
KK
I'd love to have the Twat mousepad.
Foam Shocker FTW!
@jayntampa: That's a pretty good idea. I'd second it.
@jayntampa:
Good idea there my man.
@Crecente:
If you let me have these, I clean Kotaku towers.
Its all about the Foam Finger but whers the GTAIV novelty hat? perfect for when it launches..... do you think gamecrazy will have a midnight launch?
Luckeeey! Where's my box o' goodies. I guess I can call Rockstar!
I say sell it to us gamers, these stuff is greater then the Limited edition stuffs.
Have a GTA themed competition, commentators have 2 weeks to steal as many cars as possible and not get caught. Its quality that counts though, the more cash the cars are worth the better chances you have at winning the prize.
@Cchrist: WAR KITTENS?!
Save it for Funde Razor.
@jayntampa: I agree. That stuff seems great, but working with a charitable organization myself, 'tis much better to give than receive.
Besides, I've gotten enough presents today as it is. So fun to have your birthday on tax day! Sigh...
I'm jonesin' for straight up, single player gameplay footage. How 'bout it? ....PLEASE? Rockstar... Kotaku.... anyone??? Maybe just like 30 seconds of a 4 or 5 star violence rampage?
Even though I'd love getting my hands on this swag, funde razor for child's play is the way to go. Especially since this could get a very high price.
As sweet as it would be to get that swag, I think you should use it for the charity.
The internet cafe is named twat? I find that rather funny. We haven't had a Kotaku hunt in a few months. That is some nice swag too!
@El Patricko: somewhere here there should be such a trailer if it exists http://www.gametrailers.com/game/2924.html
I assume you don't mean giving this to some children for Child's Play directly and auctioning it for funds instead..it's not a kid's game after all.
lol the foam finger is the shocker
technically that is a giant foam finger for grand theft auto 7, but the fingers need to be spread out.
Charity man, charity.
tw=CW?
It would be wicked to get that stuff, but hey, its for a good cause and an awesome charity. Let the charity have it :D
I think you should follow your heart, Brian. Yes that's right, give them to a Kotaku reader!
I kid, i kid...
We're getting the game, that's more than enough, do something for charity with the rest.
I was going to ask who still finds the shocker funny, but now I know.
@JakeDunn: Thanks dude. Glad I went there 'cause I hadn't seen the hilarious Liberty City Gun Club trailer yet, but no real gameplay footage. I would have thought there would be some by now. I'm just dying to see video of Niko just strolling around LC to get a little taste of the awesomeness. Oh well...
How about a contest with a 10$ entry fee or something?
Best of both worlds. :)
Child's play, definitly.
Heh, they ripped off the CW logo for the mousepad:

Kill two birds with one stone. Give the swag to a Kotaku reader with a debilitating illness.
sure as much as everyone here would love to get there grubby little mits on your swag save it for the carity auction...although i hope the irony of auctioning of an 18+ rated game's paraphernalia is not lost on everyone...especially the tw@ mouse mat!!!!
As bad as i want all that stuff, there are surly ppl out there who would pay alot cuz its GTAIV-Branded. So like jayntampa said, its a win win situation.
Maybe a sort of "silent auction"-type on this page, where every one donates for charity and at the end the the x.Person in the donation-list gets a prize.
Short => Charity ^^
I think that, despite being a fanboy about GTA stuff, the good should be used to draw in cash for Child's Play. Actually, does the ECA do any fund raising events? It seems to me that GTA is to gaming what some of the mid 80s Miller, Moore, Gaiman etc. comics were to that medium: It pushes the boundaries of what is often thought of as a "for kids" product and is often criticized for its vulgarity and violence, despite it's artistic merit. Art from those sorts of authors are often auctioned off to raise money for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, and the ECA is what comes to mind for me when I think of that. http://www.cbldf.org/membership.shtml Hell, a group of that stuff + a copy of GTA IV signed by the Housers and Rockstar North would go for quite a pretty penny, I'd wager.
Not sure why that was formatted wrong, or why the picture didn't come out... sorry
@Angryrider: @The-Mighty-KrilDog: Tw@ has been around since GTA3, so no, they didn't. Think about Tw@ some and you'll get it. It's one of GTA's most vulgar company names ;)
I think it should be given away to me. I almost shit myself when I saw this smorgasbord of awesomeness.
Oh man oh man oh man. I want this.
oh snap! i NEED that foam hand. if you let me get that foam hand i will walk around my office all day with it on and snap pictures. i need that hand something fierce, just think of all the fun i could have.
Maybe I fail at counting, but I think there are only 3 fingers in the shocker, not 4.
This will complete me. I want so badly.................................................................
@male roof blower: I believe 4 fingers makes it the much revered "canadian crippler".
Dibs on the N1KO license plate
I'm all for charity but I don't think this swag is unique enough to attract a price sufficiently high to be really worth it. Therefore, in this particular case, I vote for a contest (the creativity of people here always amazes me).
