Please don't fix that typo :)
What typo? I always eat my shumps with my mumorprgers every morning.
Show 'em how to make 'em, indie dev's!
I hereby declare a new genre is born.
Agreed
I love these kinds of contests, and really do hope that more are held so that new fledgling devs can be found and have a chance to get noticed.
Would be nice to see if more contests like these made it to Japan also. :x
Well, now I know I'm not crazy.
Now I can go around saying "It's a Shump, Chump" for the Great and Powerful Crecente has spoken.
Seems odd that they give the winners flash when that's exactly what program was used to make the game...
hahahaha @ above
Well, I just played the winning entry. Even though I suck and only beat the first three levels, the pain in my eyes tells me that it was quite magnificent.
yeah, Last Canopy is fun stuff.
Just played it too and good stuff!
I so would kill for a proper joystick to play the game with though, since the keyboard is just not sensitive enough to control your character when trying to absorb abilities from the bosses while doding the hail of bullets.
This game is awesome. Funny how they nailed the gameplay so well. First schmup I play in which you feel like you're controlling a tiny army.
I dig the art; reminds me of Everyday Shooter.
I liked the art in Last Canopy, I thought it really helped make the game something cool and special. It deserved to win that competition, hands down.
I have no idea what's so great about Last Canopy. I think it sucked balls.
(And no, I'm not spoiled on Ikaruga XBLA. My Xbox Live was acting wonky so I couldn't download it.)
