i really dought the servers will be strained as I know from expieriance that even when your in a lobby on PSN CoD4 and you dont want to play the map or people if you back out and search again you end up in the very same room...WEAK..! on XBox 360 and Live! if you leave a room good luck finding that same room again. so if that's any indication remember an older posting from the inner webs that on any givin day there are over 1,000,000 players logged in and ummmmm....on the PSN err ummmm I don't think we wanna go there...to low to even bother. So Go ahead SONY boys it's ok to download at the same time..all together now..! lol

I'm seriously excited for the creek map, I believe it's called? The one with the giant ravine and whatnot. It just looks like such a badass stage.

I really don't like Creek and this is coming from a sniping fanatic. You have two options on that map.

1. Go over the hill and snipe or be sniped.

2. Go into the cave and get blown to bits or blow others to bits.

IMHO its a poorly designed map and gets old fast. There are very few places to get away from a sniper scope.

Welcome PS3 players to the cluster fuck that is "Creek". I really think I've lost touch these days, most "game sites" previews or reviews have touted this as the best map of the bunch. It's a choke point joke to me personally, I was hoping it was going to be more like the CoD map Hurtgen, at least from it's description. I really do enjoy what IW did with CoD4 but a lot of the maps seem a lot more clausterphobic than CoD or CoD 2. I guess I just blame that on the 360 being the main focal point as opposed to PC.

Im happy for you ps3 owners, although you should have gotten the maps the same time as the 360 owners. I bought the maps the first day they came out and I must say they were worth every penny.

So it's 10 bucks. I don't mind paying for something if it has value. To be honest COD4 needs these maps to keep me playing. However... as soon as MSG4 hits, sorry CoD it was a great run and all. It was just time to move on.

@Balance_In_Life (PSN): I very much agree with you. As much as i love playing this online, the same maps over and over again wear thin on the player. OH how mgs needs to come out now, the online will be harmonious

I'm still pissed off we didnt get Host migration, and we can't mute players in the lobby, and map 'Bog' still lags like crazy on ground war. Otherwise I cant wait until these release.

@Word Man: If its anything like the original MGO it will be glitchful! Man I can't stop talking about how horrible that online game was, but at the same time it was so fun. Running down a corridor to be shot by some guy glitching from across the map hanging. His body is showing but in reality he is moving around the map and not hanging. EIther way the beta should keep me busy til Gta and then on to MGS!

Got killed by a guy on a latter...so i went and killed him 2 mins. later, he was still on the latter killing everyone -.- But it was still fun as shit, but without the offensive odor

They should release an installer so other sites will host it, this will reduce the strain on PSN.

@Word Man: yes MGS3 online (or MGO) was fun as hell. we did so much fun stuff (like killing our own teammates for the fun of it) and then teabagging our dead enemies. the Sniping was awesome. the best (disburbing but funny) part was while playing as Raikov and his special attack (squeezing someone's nuts knocking them unconscious)

@Word Man: I agree. Man it was fun stuff. I remember that the #1 guy was hated by everybody. H cheated hsi way to the top. That game had so much drama it was fun. Ahh... now i need my MGO fix.
