heh, you know your current gen console is struggling when developers decide do develop on your last platform over your current one.

it doesn't hurt to support the best selling console in video game history (surpassing the Gameboy + GBC) with 120 million sold.

@Kickinstuff13: When the game is destined to suck, and be for only hipsters that think anime cartoons are still cool, they can put it on NES for all I care, it doesn't reflect on any console.

I'll probably be getting this, eventually. Still have to play through NGBC and Melty Blood first.

I have to admit, I was surprised to find out NGBC sold either 124k or 130k copies. Hopefully this does just as well, I want to see AH2 come stateside.

And I can't wait for this. Moreso because it's all girls and anime style 2d...I collect fighting games, and it's weird because I don't own a single Tekken...more of a 2d girl than 3d.

@Polywhirl: from what I've read, the first one came out around 10 years ago on the sega saturn. then it was ported to the ps a few years later, but there hasn't been another port until the recent ones on the ps2 and the wii

I'm filled with great sadness ... I will drag my heavy heart through the week until the game arrives. Oh, the cruel fates ... I was getting out of work early tomorrow, so I thought I'd have a bunch of time to play it.

@Polywhirl: I think the Saturn version came out years ago ... Atlus released a PS2 and Wii version today.

Let's hope this is only a two day thing and Atlus doesn't do what SNK usually does with 2D fighter releases in the US. How many times did KOF XI and NGBC get delayed?

@All the haters: All I know is I've never been a playstation fan. But looking across the way from my xbox, I saw the playstation 2 and the success it was having. So when the ps3 came out, I was like, what the heck, I'll get this thing. I have never wasted money in such a way on such a useless thing...

Yes I got my hopes crushed yesterday when I went out looking for this. Though I did pick up Baroque so not all is lost but it still hurts.
