Blur and Oasis? is it the 90s?

Are there bands who are in both SingStar and Rock Band, or is it basically an either-or arrangement? I ask because Placebo, my Fiancee's favorite band, is on Singstar but I have yet to see anything about their stuff coming to Rock Band, and I know she would flip out if it did ;)

I'm just happy about Muse. Was freakin' jealous about that.

Wow, let's give the Europeans more of a reason to be ticked off about the game! Aside from the prices and the extended date of release and separate packaging... Let's take away their exclusive tracks. Brilliant!

i'll check out hysteria by muse. one of their better singles. it'd be nice to see something from showbiz like Muscle Museum or something like that. Stockholm Syndrome seems like it'd be fun to play. it'd be funny if the got Dream Theater's "Never Enough" to be released along with stockholm syndrome.

Allow me to wager a guess...
Well the past few weeks it's generally been pack/individual songs/pack rotation, so I'm guessing we'll see something like a French pack first week, the three English songs individually second week, and a German pack third week. That'll give Europe three weeks to catch up on buying the downloadable content that we already have over here. They've been kind of slack with the content delivery lately. There was only one song last week, though it was a guaranteed crowd pleaser and also free, then this week is the former OXM exclusives. I'd assume their pushing all of their resources towards the Wii/European release of the game, so it wouldn't surprise me if we saw these tracks fairly soon since their essentially getting two birds stoned at once by creating this weeks DLC and the European exclusive content at the same time. Hopefully it stays European exclusive for a while though, since we've already got months on them for the leaderboards, I think they deserve a fair advantage on at least a couple songs.

So Europe waiting half a year for 9 exclusive songs, that aren't even exclusive.
Or if you look at it in another way: Europe gets a 15$ DLC discount. (Which certainly is the reason for the higher price.)

I'm relieved that these songs are going to be available in the States. I was seriously considering buying the EU-PS3 version of Rock Band so I could play "Hysteria".

We do need more Muse, though. And some Beatles.

Why are videogames so expensive in Europe lately anyways?

I love Rock Band and all but while there's a few cool indie songs here and there, most of the tracks are made up of outdated generic hard rock songs. It's like Harmonix devs are stuck in their sophomore year in high school circa 1994.

I was only saying a few days ago that I would be well up for it if the price is reasonable, despite the fact that I find Guitar Hero games a load of fake posing nonsense... I was up for the drums, see. But there's no way I'm paying what they're asking. For one sodding game? No, no, and once again, NO.

Oh my...so this means...foreign languages don't matter anymore..so....since there will be French and German songs....there could be.....Spanish..and Japanese tracks..OMG!

Like i said in a previous post I imported a few months back and only paid £125 incl. delivery which is sweet. Seeing the UK price makes that even better.

I just wish the Europeans wouldn't get shafted like they usually are. Rock Band is fun but not I'll give an arm and leg for it fun. Hopefully from here til then people complain enough that they drop the price.

Tokio Hotel are actually a German band. They are famous among young girls (10-15 years old), actually the lead singer looks like a girl and, the most important fact for today, they make really shitty music. Watch their even shittier video on youtube:

@ChibiKyKiske: I agree. Stockhoml syndrome is probably my fav muse song. that and butterflies and hurricanes. but the piano is so important in that song, I don't think it would be good for Rock Band. Maybe The Small Print? That'd would be awesome.
