Voting time! Man, there were a fuckton of great eggs. So many that we don't have the usually lucky seven finalists. We've got 25. All the entries seem self explanatory, so what we've done is create a gallery. Click through to see all the finalists. Here's where it gets different: To vote, write "I vote for this" under the egg picture you like. That's the only thing you should write if you want your vote to count. Do not, we repeat, do not vote in the regular comments section — they won't count! And remember, vote for only one egg. That's right, ONLY ONE EGG. Voting for two or more means Ban Hammer fun. For us, not you.

Man, all of these are bloody sweet. I was thinking there would be maybe like 5-6 entries in total and I would be a shoe in (heh)... But holy shizer. The HL2e2, Portal (both), TF2 and Rainbow are all really damn sweet, and the rest are awesome as well...

i voted for the broken portal turret. Liked the comments on the wall. The Patapon and TF2 ones were great too.

I just like the fact that multi-voters get banned. Its pretty brutal. Fair, but brutal.
I voted for the Okami one. I liked the Patapon, Dizzyegg, Smashbros, and Katamari ones as well. Good job entrants! ^.^
My favourites were the turrets, but I went with the Strider/hunter battle because of the immense amount of effort that went into what turned out to be excellent work.
RRoD egg was an excellent idea, but I found the execution a little off. I also really like the Super Eggbros. This was an awesome contest.

All of them are eggcellent, I had trouble choosing.
And I would, just now as I was browsing get my eggdea, an R-Type ship egg blah.
The portal turret was awesome, but I still had to give it to Harrison and Egg-Cente. It's just so perfect.
I don't know what to vote for... best over all presentation, best egg (as in the egg itself, ignoring the surroundings), or most clever... hmm...

Wow, people are all way too good at this. These all my egg look amateurish (which, I'll admit, it was). I ended up voting for the broken turret, but a hardy kudos all around!
The Vault Boy is absolutely brilliant. So is the broken portal turret. I love the Half Life set, and the Kirby v. Metaknight and Katamari ones have some great attention to detail. The Pong and Pac-Man are great as classics, but I ultimately went with the Bubble Bobble. It has the greatest looking single egg.

As far as my vote went, I was all about the first Portal egg diorama. Very smooth, well made.
since this forum doesn't count, I heart all of them, particularly the Okami egg(true beauty), Loz (well done), Broken Turret(poetic, I guess), Katamari(nice backround), Patapon (good effort) and the Dr. Robotnik (classic, genius). Snake was funny but a little under done (but of course, still funny).
right now, I'm caught between the Okami Egg, Portal's Broken Turret and the Dr. Robotnik...
This is definitely the best compo so far. I just hate that I have to choose one! When I finally make up my mind, I'll feel like I've betrayed the others. :(

Im torn between the broken turret and Katamari one.
I was undecided about the standing turret with the companion cube but then realized I was going to eliminate that one due to the fact that everything there, except maybe for the actual egg, look like it was done entirely by computer graphics :(
Reminds me of my 8th grade child-raising project involving a potato instead of an egg. Apparently stapling the clothes to the child is frowned upon.
I voted based it on the style of the eggs and setting. I made my decision, but turrets from Portal came close, especially the broken one.
Wow. I missed the Okami one. It's amazing. I still wouldn't change my vote, but I can see why it's winning.

I liked the Gears of War one! It was WELL DONE. I don't think this contest will go OVER EASY. Watch out for krill, gotta wait for the SUNNY-SIDE UP.

Broken Turret and Red Ring of Egg are both very much win, but I think broken turret makes it into the lead for having a background.
I wonder if they Boiled the Solid Snake Egg for authenticity...

I kinda like this format better, unless you come in on it from the main page like I did and have to click through each pic...
