@Hotstepper: Sega is huge on marketing in EU. Unlike the US, Sega has been doing great in Europe with its titles, and it's pumping lot of money in marketing the hell out of their games.

Woot, i knew pro evolution was good but i never thought it would sell good.

I really enjoyed the Viking game, it was £34.99 at mostplaces. In real world terms, it was well, rubbish, repetetive, stupid, had vague mission breifings, buggy and slightly unfinished. However overall, I really enjoyed it!

@Garo: And remember that GT5P is sold online as well directly on PSN. So there is obviously more sales coming from direct purchasers as well. It's sad how well prologue is selling..... I'm not a GT fan so I don't get it but I would buy a MGS Prologue so yea...

Why are people surprised that the most hotly anticipated title on the ps3 manages to out-sell a hum-drum week on every other platform?

UK will choose PS3 this year, x360 only survive beacause of US.

I am really glad that PES2008 has been selling well in the UK and am also glad Nintendo have decided to push it with their adverts and that excellent mini-site they made.

This will bode well for the next edition coming to Wii.

The PS3 is doing ok in the UK I think you'll find.

@JoDark117: it seems to be catching up quite nicely each month. PS3 sales go gradually up, 360 sales gradually going down, I wouldn't put it past the PS3. We have not even had one of the BIG franchises for Sony hit yet. Where as the 360 has had a good number of its big hitters already.

meh nether console will really win until this generation is over. The xbox sales are slowing down because I believe but don't quote me that 20 million have been sold. The ps3 is getting a little momentum but I doubt it will really pick up enough to beat the 360 in total sales considering this generation only has 2-3 more years left.
