This week at the Smash Bros. Dojo, it's nothing but "spoilers." Hidden characters, unlockable stages, post completion goodies—you know the drill. The most interesting thing to come out of producer Masahiro Sakurai's official blogging was his wee opinion paragraph about the lack of new Nintendo owned characters this decade. It might be annoying as a producer, I suppose, but I don't have such an aversion to playing through yet another Mario starring adventure. The rest of the updates are more in the way of T-crossing and I-dotting, as the twilight days of the official site and its daily updates draw closer. In the meantime, take part in more Super Smash Bros. Brawl conversation after this week's Dojo Dump.
Monday: Hidden character number twelve is Wolf, who not only looks like Fox, he plays a hell of a lot like him too.
Tuesday: The unlockable Pirate Ship stage just makes me want to play Wind Waker again. What a lovely little game that was.
Wednesday: We talked about the All-Star mode earlier this week, but it's all about character battles. Sakurai squeezes in a thinly veiled complaint.
Thursday: Want the Full Song List with Secret Songs? Print out your checklist!
Friday: The Dojo offers a good look at the Final Smash Trophies. They're rather attractive, no?

The only good thing about this weeks update was showing the Final Smash Trophys. There seems to have been lots of detail into each of them, cant wait to play this game! Maybe Sakurai will annouce the release date for EU in his last update, I can hope...
the lack of new first party IPs and characters is annoying to the player too.
Of course I love a good Mario game, but I think I would pass it up to play a new good IP aimed at the core audience.
It's almost painful to see a company as experienced and as creative as Nintendo constantly pass up the opportunity or chance to create new characters, worlds and stories.
What, Nintendo isn't a top-down authoritarian system where any opinions clashing with the company line are swiftly punished?
Next you'll be telling me that Iwata and Miyamoto subsist on substances other than the blood of newborn kittens mixed with the tears of "hardcore" gamers.
/Sarcasm]
Jigglypuff's final smash is so funny.
The Final Smash trophies are so damn pretty. I just can't bring myself to go through All-Star with every character...so boring.
I'm sooo happy they included the song with the singing Yoshi's. I play that stage way too often during slow motion brawls.
Wolf = <3
So slow. So cheap.
Needs more Golden Sun.
Hey Ninty, where's my GS3?
@Fry: Lol Here Here! or they could of put Issac in Brawl XD
I'm about halfway through collecting all the Final Smash trophies. They're so pretty. Definitely the best trophies in the game.
Wolf is so different from Fox I can't even say how much Wolf is different from Fox.
According to this press release [press-nintendo.110mb.com] there are going to be more four new downloadable characters in brawl. I'm surprised Kotaku hasn't picked up on it yet.
@mrsmiter: It's bullshit.
@mrsmiter: You, uh, didn't get the memo that that was an April Fool's joke did you? Notice the 110mb.com part as well. It's fake and that isn't happening. Sakurai also already said they wouldn't have DLC for Brawl.
Wow, only one more week before the Dojo updates end. What are you going to do with your life after the 14th, McWhertor?
@Fry:
Support the cause! lol
@Neo_Deus:
I can answer that question, McWhertor will obviously go back to his previous job of fighting crime as turbo-man.
The 75m stage needed some sort of King of Kong reference, like an unlockable song, say... "You're the Best" by Joe Esposito?

I think the Raving Rabbids would have fit in quiet nicely in Smash Bros. They seem to be strongly associated with the Wii.
@I am ERROR: You're not alone. God I love that song.
@BenKenobi88: You're right, Fox is excellent while Wolf is a horrible character.
So slow. So easy.
@EggmaniMN: That is why i hate April fools, generally with stuff like this, I don't find out what's real and what isn't until later. Oh well, I was Hoping.
I first noticed this when I got Luigi's Final Smash trophy yesterday, but I couldn't be sure it was genuine until I saw it in motion.
+ Watch video
Pause at 27 seconds in. He actually does that pose, shaking arms and all.
@Mainman:
LoL I saw it. LuWRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYgi!
@jive238: That's it! I knew I was missing something.
The Final Smash trophies are awesome! BTW, these Dojo Dumps are mostly useless now for people like me that have known about or have unlocked most of the stuff. Although, the full music list was a nice thought!
Yeah it's kinda shit Nintendo are always using the same characters but damn it's impressive that they manage to create characters that can maintain such longevity almost every time.
I need to sit down and play this game with a vengeance and then take it to my friends again.
I been unlocking everything I could in this great game. I LOVE IT I think its close to perfect, the online is the only component which I dislike. To Sakurai, I do agree it is getting increasingly difficult but what about chibi robo, and elite beat agents? aren't those two new franchises ?
@Kiyota: Issac is in Brawl. As an assist trophy.
And McWhertor, Wolf is not like Fox. He's heavier, slower, and his moves are almost completely different.
I kill everyone in Brawl here.. but we just switched to playing in Stamina mode and I get owned everytime. All that minor damage I take in as Young Link with his Awesome recovery.. only few times I won was meteor smashing.. LOL I recomend playing some Stamina mode in Special Brawl a few times.
Damnit, Wind Waker was the best game in the whole Zelda series. I still get misty-eyed when I think of the ending...
