My Mii doesn't look much like, well, me. Good thing customize Mii designer Bobby Bobby is here to make Miis for me. Or you. Or whomever. According to Bobby Bobby, he's ranked #1 on the American Mii Artisan Rankings on the Check Mii Out channel, and he's "one of the few authentic Mii Artists around the world to achieve this honor." Above is a sample of his work, which runs US $7.99. Not bad! Bobby Bobby says:
When it comes to appearance accuracy, I will try my best to match the given photo as best I can, but please remember that facial features such as eye-brow shapes, hair styles and colors are limited to a select number of options. In other words, certain characteristics may not be attainable within the mii editor, such as outlandish hairdos, unusual hair colors, or facial tattoos. Therefore, I am restricted to choosing the best matching facial features from the available selection that Nintendo allows.
Apologizes those with "PSYCHO" tattooed on their foreheads. Bobby Bobby can't help you. No one can.

His name's Bobby Bobby?
Oh God. A simple program with a couple of features turns into a fully-fledged new style of work?
And what are Miis good for anyway? Except for sharing through awkwardly working channels that aren't worth shit?
@Cchrist: Bobby is just a nickname. techincally it's Robert Robert.
...god I hope his parents didn't do that to him on purpose. At that I hope he didn't do that to himself. The only profession that fits that name without being weird is a circus. In the middle of the desert.
...furthermore I hope this is a joke story and no one would be ridiculous enough to send money to a man named Bobby Bobby for ANYTHING much less a 2 cm tall bastard version of themself.
Isn't the whole point of Mii's to have fun trying to create yourself, and going through all the possible features before you go "that's me!"?
Part of me is ashamed that the public has become so lazy that we can't make our own Miis
But the Capitalist side of me is proud to see someone take advantage of the market for people who are too stupid to make their own Mii and make one for them for a nominal fee.
God Bless America
@teh_joe: That sounds alot more likely.
IMHO, theres not enough face hair styles to chose from. I look like a ugly psycho hobo, and Is hard to depict that with the styles you have with the mii.
if people really wanna waste money, they can give it to me, honest... and NEVER trust a man with two first names.
@Ryumeka: You hit the nail on the head with that comment.
Who, in their right mind, would pay $7.99 for someone to make a Mii for them? I had fun making my Mii. How often to you get to make an exaggerated versrion of yourself?
Wow, people will pay money for ANYTHING... and as a fellow "Robert", I feel the urge to start a ridiculous business too! C'mon down to Rob Rob's Fat Jigglin' Emporium! For 10 bucks, I'll jiggle my fat in your face for a full hour! I'm passing the savings on to YOU!
You have to admit though that the mii for the guy on the rightmost really looks like him!
@ShaggE: Dude can i work there too?
I think Bashcraft and Crecente should buy the service. I want to see wiis of them.
Pfft- I'll do it for $5.99 and throw in a free Nintendo related Mii at no extra cost!
This is so stupid. It's like paying to customize a character of yourself on an MMO or something.
Oh, Bobby Bobby.
*was thinking of having him make one like Sacha Baron Cohen*
Wow - and there are people paying for this too. You basically take two of a person's most outstanding features and bam - that mii looks just like them!
I'd love to see someone do this service for games with a more indepth create a character system - like WWE 2008. Make a character who looks identical to someone in that game and it just looks creepy.
Those Miis aren't anything to get your panties in a bunch over. Especially that second one....that kid doesn't look anything like Norm MacDonald.
@Schoolimangooli: Crecente had his avatar as his mii for a long time. He barely changed it to a real picture of him. And he made his mii by himself for free, because only an idiot would pay to have somebody do something so simple for them.
What a waste of money...
@shyguy: Woo. Someone reads my words.
There's a chance I could feel slightly offended by the outcome. Take the left guy in that image. He may look like a dopey, bulbous nosed guy...but does he want to know it?
Wow, that is really ultra-retarded. Are people so lazy they can't mess around with making their Wii look the way they want? And I prefer to have it look different from me, personally.
This is more idiotic than paying for Picture Packs on Xbox Live. On the other hand, congrats to Bobby Bobby for making money off of fucktards.
The guy in the middle looks off.
Some people have no skills when it comes to art. I find it hard to believe that someone couldn't figure out how to make a Mii that looks similar to themselves if they had a few hours to play with the creation tool but some people would rather pay to have it done for them.
Polywhirl
Pete
etc, etc...
I wouldn't be so quick to call the service "stupid" or the people paying for it "idiots" or the same should be said for anyone that pays to have their car fixed or their computer fixed or their house painted. Changing the oil in a car? Easy! Only an idiot would pay to have that done. Mowing a lawn?! Freaking cake! Why offer a service so stupid? Pay to have your computer reformatted? You must be totally ignorant. You get the idea?
There are about a million people on the internets who like making Miis and will do it for you for free.
@Adam In Texas: Except all of those things require effort. And in some cases (house painting or car fixing) some skill / knowledge of what you're doing to not fuck things up. I can spend 5-10 bucks on a new oil filter and another 5-10 on a case of oil, then uncomfortably work my way under the vehicle, change the oil, and then still have to dispose of the old oil somehow. Or I can spend almost the same to be able to sit there while someone else does it.
Making a Mii isn't even remotely on the same level as any of this stuff. Paying to make a Mii is much more on the level of paying someone to unlock stuff for you in Smash Brothers or having someone burn a CD for you when you have your own CD burner with a stack of blanks right next to you.
@teh_joe: Wouldn't it be Robert Bobby (i don't know if you can have a last nickname...)
@ShaggE:
You probably don't want to meet the people that'd show up for that. And if you do, you could charge a lot more than $10.
Fascinating Fact: In Scotland, 'boaby' (pronounced same as Bobby) is another name for the male appendage....
My Mii does looks like me XD...
For those interested in this service:
Give up on life, altogether, just go into the nearest corner now and stay there. Thank you.
My Mii looks like me, but I have unique facial hair, so I just gave myself the biker stache. The Mii for my wife is uncanny. Generally, if someone comes over and sees about 80 Miis and is able to identify what they are, you have done a good job.
@teh_joe: Maybe it's Robert Bobby.
He's probably related to Ricky somehow. The Bobby family seems to have a lot of "interesting" people in it.
i yam sofa king wii tall did
That kid on the left looks like the real life incarnation of Nelson Muntz
