What, just the promise of WW2, Nazis, vampires and werewolves all in one game wasn't enough for you? Fine. Here's a couple of character-specific trailers. The one above's for Vlado, who is - what else - a Nazi vampire. After the jump's one for Camilla. A Nazi in need of a good and proper reminding of what is and what is not appropriate battlefield attire.
Hrm. Kooky setting aside, looks quite rubbish, actually. Bummer.

@ Luke
Well, for me it's one of the more interesting titles for the X360...
but hey that's just me :/
Looks awesomely bad....
Though god damn it that music annoys the hell out of me
Holy Hell, that chick is obscenely busty, even for a video game character.
WW2, Nazis, vampires and werewolves
Sexay! :D
Also, the music. It reminds me strangely of another game. It has to be a blatant ripoff. But I can't remember of which game. Folklore? Enchanted Arms? Something entirely different? Argh. I know I played it this gen. Somebody help out :o
What the frick? Am i dreaming? This is useually how my nightmares start out.
Wow.
I guess it could possibly be good.
@Candlejack:
Bloodrayne
I am reminded of Spike se 5 ep 13 (Why We Fight) of Angel.
"Spikes not in the SS, he just likes the jacket"
Spike > Angel
Oh please oh please oh please let there be a mode to play the Nazi side in this game - that looks EPIC.
Yeah, this um.... definitely looks awesomely bad, as TCS above said.
@VishusBurn: You should see him in Torchwood.
This is completely unbelievable. Do they think we know nothing of history? That zombie Nazi is clearly using a gun that was developed in 1946, one year after the third reich fell. So much for historical accuracy.
Wow, that is great. That second vid was lol funny. Especially comparing the size of her head to other parts of her anatomy. Might have to pick it up for sheer comedy value.
@Foggynotion: No dude they have an interflux time itemslot wich lets them get one gun from the future.
@Foggynotion
useless information!
@all:
this game sucks ass! How dare they use the FF concept. And what´s going on with the breasts of the girl? Mutated Killer Breasts!
So bad it is good again (in an unintentional comedy kind of way)
I pretty much think I need this game, it's one of those idea that is so crap to become genius.
You know it's a SRPG right? I think it looks pretty good. Esp. the chick in this picture. [www.atlus.com]
@Cchrist:
I should see him in a good way? or
I should see him in the "his character is a complete asshat way"?
I have yet to watch Torchwood. :(
I'll have to check it out now.
Omg.... graphics? horrible. You play as a nazi? well somekind unmoral imo. Busty UGLY female nazi? doesnt turn me on ^^.
well its not my kind of game
hmmmm no thanks
@ninjadoom: That picture looks way different than what we see in those trailers. I'll admit that group photo is pretty cool, but the actual in-game characters won't look like anime characters :P
The vampire chick's head actually looks tiny in comparison with her torso, it creeped me out. Plus, the angle of the camera when she was attacking was like right behind a corner. Didn't seem like a good position for it.
I don't know about this one...
Daym, are those F-cups? That would so hinder her mobility if she wasn't a vampire.
It's weird because the videos on youtube look so much better than this plus you see a dragon being attacked by some tanks.
I'm sold.
If this is region free I'll import this to good old europe on day one!
this game looks fucking shit
Ewww... My brain hurts -.-
WW2, Nazis, vampires, and breast physics. What a winning combination. If only they had ninjas and pirates to really spice things up.
Please don't judge these trailers so harshly. This is one of the few games I am seriously looking forward to. It has been a long time since we have had a really cool strategy/rpg game of this caliber - and it's a WWII horror to boot. It seems to me a lot of people are judging this game just by these 2 tiny trailers. For more information please visit the US site at www.atlus.com/operationdarkness. There is not a lot of info there, so visit the Japanese site at [www.success-corp.co.jp] or just Wiki it. There are some better videos at the Japanese site. You are all bitching but you have to admit that the combo of werewolves, undead nazis, ww2, strategy/rpg and giant titties kicks serious ass.
I may actually buy this game (if they release it in Europe and if I can find one cheap). Gameplay seems somewhat similar to X-COM or Jagged Alliance series...
What has been seen cannot be unseen!
Why? Why would someone think this is good?
okay is it just me or does it look like her left nipple is bleeding??
I think I prefer this sort of balls-to-the-walls crazy cheesiness to your "Alone in the Park" style ghostbustering cheesiness.
Not since the original Tomb Raider have I seen such enormous, awkward-looking breasts. And I can read lips....spoiler alert...the guy at the beginning is saying "watermelon watermelon watermelon watermelon"
Looks...interesting.
Part of me says "It's Atlus, c'mon. How bad can it be?"
Part of me looks at those bongo drums and shudders. The proportions may terrify more than any vampires/werewolves hiding in my 1940s closets.
This game looks a bit on the bad side visually but the nerd in me that loves weird alternate history really wants to play this.
My god...the things solid snake could do with those funbags.
I don't know why GT added the arbitrary age verification to these videos, but what the hell, I'm 106 years old and interested in a video game about Nazi vampires. A game in which you apparently are the Nazi vampires, rather than killing them?
Alright.
@sloner: lmao.
Yes, graphically it was probably originally developed for the PS2, but it's still a pretty fun game to play if you like old school turn-based strategy. It's been out in Japan for half a year and while not region free, it has full English support.
Oh, and no, you do not play as the Nazis. You are a member of a secret British special forces unit called the "Wolf Pack."
That girl has huge tits.
already got the japanese import , and it's one of the best SRPG i've played , if you dig the genre , it's a kick ass nazi's , vampire , strategy'n'boobs in the eyes game.
I cast magic missile at the darkness!
Oh god!! The boobs! The BOOBS!!! *dies*
Well, at least she never has to worry about drowning since she comes pre-equipped with a two handy flotation devices.
i find this kind of offensive. endorsing nazi's in a game... can't believe you actually play SS soldiers (be it vampires or not) trying to take over France. hmm, not my cup of tea. and what is up with the female's head .. that breast to head size ratio is .. um.. quite awkward.
Her head is too small. The breast to head ratio should not be proportional to the Moon to Earth ratio.
lol looks like a weak response to Valkyrie of the Battlefield, the gameplay mechanics even if not showed entirely already sucks, not even mentioning the crappy casting animation (the cleavage factor couldn't be used worst, why do not learn from Soul Calibur?) character models can really easily be from PS2, so, >for now< in my honest opinion this is a dead in the first week game, too bad since when there were just concept art I was interested.
Nobody ever looks for import information huh?
Has good graphics for a tactics game. I'm happy to finally have a game like this for the 360 outside of XBLA.
wow I haven't seen eyes as red as Camillas since April 20th of last year.
I think this game looks like it'll be amazing.
Werewolves, nazis, vampires, what else do you need?
@Game_Munkee: omg a 420 weed smoking joke how funny and original
@tenske: You don't play as the Nazis, you play as Brits called the Wolf Pack. The evil Nazis are going to be destroyed by werewolves from London.
lol... When I see a WWII game I kind of assume a Western dev making an fps.
So watching this video, everything, from that EXACT font they used, to attacking then having an HP display pop up, to the costume designs and pointy eared vampires, to jiggling while casting, this game could only come from Japan. Funny how different the culture is that it will make the origin of a game THAT apparent.
This is a joke so don't take it too seriously, but nazi vampires - they could almost form a visual kei band, except you can easily identify the men and women as such! :p
This game could of been awesome, but it's totally not at all.
@iceketch: This game was completed before Valyrie of the Battlefield was announced, so it really can't be a response.
Anyway, I'm definitely getting this. I love Atlus, so I can forgive them a so-so game every once in awhile ... plus, the setting is fun for me. Sometimes I just enjoy a certain level of kitsch.
It won't be serious, but the combat animations looked kind of cool.
Then again, it's hard to slog through games with shit stories and presentation unless you reaaaaaally like the gameplay.
And her ratio is quite bizarre.
OK, only thing that was missing in that trailer was Nicholas Cage screaming "THIS IS MY MECCA!"
Otherwise, it looks alright.
Do you ACTUALLY play as them? To me they look far more likely to be the antagonists than the heroes.
@SaintEmpire: Awesome. I'm in.
@SaintEmpire: strategy'n'boobs in the eyes game
@sloner: Not since the original Tomb Raider have I seen such enormous, awkward-looking breasts.
@Jilkon: Daym, are those F-cups?
@Itzpapalotl: Oh god!! The boobs! The BOOBS!!! *dies*
@Atheist Jew: That girl has huge tits.
Sold.
sigh... why am I so easy with this kind of thing.
@Tokoyama: You don't play as Nazis...
Also, way to judge a hokey strategy game by its cover Plunkett.
Just as a source of curiousity how do you feel about Nippon Ichi games and the upcoming Disgaea 3?
Is she another new Soul Calibur character? I can't keep up!
Are these videos supposed to increase the interest in this game? Because that's not working.
Also, something went terribly awry with that chick's character model.
