That's really funny.
I'd play it.
You know, I'd play it. Beatmania, you pay a dollar at the arcade, and you get to play.
With this, you pay a dollar, get 97 cents back, and get to play.
Much better deal.
This is amazing.
And instantly better than the crap US release.
Love the songs they picked for it.
very cool
I wish they'd put these in more casinos in vegas. I'd be visiting them more often.
Looks like it is fun to play, but I can't help wondering what maintenance is like for the machine after a lot of heavy play since having worked in an arcade I know that machines get abused frequently by customers which can lead to lots of repairs on popular machines.
anything with beatmania attached is fun
@gtc: ouch, lol... I heard V was actually on the songlist (not surprising, I'm sure.)
But yeah I'd play it... though I doubt I'd be any good at it, despite not having 7K+TT.
Hideous trance music! ARRRGHHHH MY EARS!!!!!
IIDX GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD.....so if they release the next one, I wonder if it's based off DJ Troopers =3
Needs a Pop'n Music version.
Obvious "Make it Make Money" reference.
It's on the pachislot but nothing related... or does it spew pachinko tokens based on your score on Beatmania?
That would be beyond awesome...
A slot machine, huh? Just as long as you can MAKE IT MAKE MONEY!
I like ENEMY PLANE APPROACH better =3
SOMEBODY SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAM!
$10 says it's the same guy who did that INSANE Tetris arcade video on Youtube. has to be.
It trances you into pressing buttons along with the rhytm as well as feeding it coins, and you lose track of time and awareness of your $$$ flowing away with the beat...Evil
That was fucking fantastic! I have a feeling there will be mad amounts of clicking and what not in the pachislot parlors when those machines hit.
I wonder if it will have an earphone jack / volume control knob like the arcade machines?
That guys posture is really creepy he never moves anything but his hands the entire video.
PS2/DS port please please please please please
Even with the millions of Pachinko parlors for all the old fogey's who have nothing better to do up here, I doubt we'll get these in Iwate :'(
That was THE COOLEST KIND OF GAMBLING I'VE EVER SEEN!
I couldn't imagine how this could be good - but then I saw it - just bolt a cut-down Beatmania machine to it, of course!
Sad thing is that's the one slot machine I might play since you have Beatmania to distract you from the fact you're playing slots :p
That looks like so much fun! (Well, as a well to relax after you've wasted all your money) I'll stick to the normal game myself, the controls on this one look cramped and uncomfortable :P
@McPoogle: I don't know if you'd say that if you played the GB releases of Beatmania. As much as I love rhythm gaming, I'd rather stick to EBA and the like on the DS then ever venture back into that territory.
@McPoogle:
DJ Max Portable 1 & 2 for PSP are like Beatmania. As a long-time Bemani fan I'd even have to admit they're better - music videos for every song, the levels are clearly tested against playing with the PSP controls and not just dumped across, so you'll never have to press left+right at the same time. Great audio quality and production value, and wide range of styles. Can you tell it's my favorite? haha...
@Tiger-Fever:
I have EBA and Ouendan 1+2, but I still keep Beatmania and Pop'n Music GBC on my PSP... they're fun once in a while. I want to get the WonderSwan version some day though, the sound quality is amazing for a black & white handheld.
Maybe I'm dumb but I didn't see the "pachi" part of that.
Did somebody say speed rave?
I'd be all over this if they had it in AC or Vegas. ALL OVER IT.
@frank0127: I doubt it, 3-key Beatmania probably wouldn't be that hard considering 5-key is a piece of cake
And having only previously seen videos I am now amazed at how awesome this is
@Channing:

I don't know... maybe they equate stand-up gambling machines of that size with pachinko?
@jacksons98: You've never been to a pachinko parlor, have you?
