This WiiWare Game Sounds Like a Sex Game!!

Gameloft's got WiiWare sexy covered. Well, sexy-sounding titles at least! The publisher's MAXIMUM RISKY sounding Icchi na Oneesan Kuzushi ("Destroy The Lewd Older Sister") is hitting WiiWare this April for 800 Wii Points. The game itself is more MINIMUM RISKY — it's just another breakout clone. Rather pedestrian stuff! There's going to be some seriously letdown WiiWare users, downloading this and thinking it's got some spice. Though, we're pretty sure they're already used to letdowns when it comes to the fairer sex.

Hit the jump for a TOTALLY SAFE FOR WORK screenshot.

  • So it's basically Sexy Breakout?

  • Where is the "Nintendo Seal of Quality" now?

  • It might be just me, but it looks like you have control of a diaphragm. Pretty kinky.

  • IT'S A TRAP!

Don't get me wrong... I love breakout games (wrote some myself even) but if this is the quality stuff that warrants XBLA titles being called crap then this is beyond hypocrisy... some of these developers honestly think you (the typical consumer) is an idiot.

  • "Ecchi na" not "icchina."
Unless it's "Destroy the agreeable older sister?" :p

  • Let it break-out...then, just tuck it under your belt till it wilts and you can stop looking so guilty.

    What a letdown.

  • Haha good one Nintendo. A new way to gain cash ;P

  • that girl in the picture above....doesnt she remind u of Eva Mendez?

  • The world is now a much darker place. A guy i was at uni with done this for our software development course and did'nt charge me to play it. i on the other hand ripped off asteroids

  • From what I can gather the katakana on the first screen is going on about an italian restaurant or something? Or am I hilariously off course?

So the levels in this breakout clone are going to be consisting of bouncing meatballs through Italian decor?

    Someone PLEASE enlighten me

  • Ha! As usual, some commenters have felt the need to bash Nintendo for this. Did they develop or publish the title? Sonic the Hedgehog is a pretty shitty 360 game, goddamn you,Bill Gates and Microsoft for making it!!!!!

  • @new_pornographer: I am getting that too... wish I had my dictionary with me.

  • Strange, Gameloft usually does awesome stuff. Remember the Prince of Persia remake for XBLA? They did it. I wonder why they're losing time with stuff like this. Gameloft are known for making the best cellphone games, for example.

@kidnicky: I've always been a proponent of placing blame where blame is due even at the risk of being called a troll at times. Though I don't know what others may have in making their statements about Nintendo's direct or indirect involvement on this, if Nintendo states that WiiWare is a service that will offer quality titles unparalleled to PSN and XBLA offerings and then clearly fail to meet that benchmark then they should be scrutinized. In Microsoft's example, they've always talked about having a healthy mix of all types of games and have never placed themselves on a pedestal that makes strange promises to the consumer. Honestly, I'm still waiting for someone to port Super DX Ball to XBLA :)

  • But does it have waggle?

  • Iam guessing this is a JPN only title?

@TwinkyC: LOL To me Sexy Breakout sounds like a nice way of saying that someone has a STD.

But if you ever played MAME it's one of those arcade game copies that just add nekkid chicks when you finish levels. Meh I remember when they tryed that on the PSP with a 9-ball pool game and it was just shite.

  • Lol, I have this EXACT game for my iPod. Its called Block Break Deluxe, it's like a "Fast and Furious" version of breakout (aka you play an "underground" block breaker, and you wanna be the number #1 block breaker "on the street"), you can unlock "bling", alcoholic drinks, hip threads, etc., etc., to trade to people and they give you paddle upgrades (bigger balls, slower balls, magnetic paddle upgrades, etc, etc.).

It's kinda fun, with teh sexy arwork and all.

  • So yeah, if you have iTunes, search Block Breaker Deluxe under games.

  • So, 800 points is how much in real world cash?

  • @PhreneticGamer: for nintendo 100 points is a dollar each so the game is eight bucks

  • @fuchikoma

Agreed, it should be "ecchi na". Also, "onee-san" doesn't just mean "older sister". It can be used to refer to a younger woman. Ex. "That lady is a fox!" = "Ano onee-san wa bijin da yo!" You could call a middle aged woman (whose name you don't know) "oba-san", which also means "aunt". Same thing for "obaa-san", which means "grandmother" but can be used for an older woman whose name you don't know. Male equivalents: onii-san, oji-san, and ojii-san. There's a bunch of other quasi-pronouns that vary depending upon the person's age, their job, your relationship to them, etc.

  • does eva mendes know she's in a video game?

  • @kidnicky:
I find it odd that Nintendo said that they had over 100 games ready for Wiiware and yet this is going to be one of the first ones released. Seems like something you would release during those desperate down times.

Nintendo absolutely deserves criticism for what they release on their system, just like Microsoft and Sony do. These are licensed games and they reflect on the company that licenses them. I mean they have no problem releasing absolute crappy shovelware, but wouldn't license an unedited Manhunt 2, so they do have at least "some" standards. Manhunt 2 isn't a AAA title, but it sure as hell isn't the worst thing on the Wii.

  • @mikeluisortega: The Nintendo Seal of Quality is the same place it's always been - ensuring that shitty Nintendo games probably won't actually crash very often. It meant they imposed QA requirements, not that games were actually any good. This has been true from the very start of the programme, as far as I'm aware.

Both other platform owners do the exact same thing (you can release any old shit as long as it actually runs and gets a rating less than AO) so I don't see any point in criticising Nintendo specifically. It's up to consumers to not buy shit games, and I'm sure most of us will manage to resist this one.

(IMO it is more worth criticising the AO policy as somebody mentioned above. Of course this criticism would apply equally to all three console manufacturers, and you can understand why they won't allow porn to be released on their systems, but.)

  • @kingofallcosmos: If they have 100 games ready to release (doubt that's really true but anyway), you think they'll release all the good games in the first week then have nothing but shit for the rest of the year? That would be crazy. They'll be wanting to spread the shit around, along with the high-profile, quality releases.

So naturally we get some Final Fantasy and also some Sexy Breakout. I'll leave you to decide which one smells of poo.

  • @mikeluisortega: nintendo seal of quality only applies to Nintendo first party games.

    i think your looking for

    "Wiiware Seal of Third-Party Quality"

Don't think Nintendo will be putting that up any time soon....

  • That screenshot was TSFW! Ashcraft, you probably should have hid the first one under the jump, but it's fine. I tried to play this one Breakout game called "Ball 7 Deluxe" on GameTap yesterday, and I could not get it to work! It just stayed stuck on the first loading screen before the main menu!

  • It looks the same as the game on my KRZR.

  • She looks like Eve Mendes.

  • What the heck, they spelled "restaurant" wrong. Who wrote this Japanese? Failure.

  • Image of Witzbold Witzbold at 03:50 PM on 03/26/08 *

@hansamurai: What you mean レストラン? Actually that is correct.

  • @Witzbold: I think hansamurai is referring to リストランテ up at the top. However, that's just Italian for restaurant (ristorante), which makes sense since the restaurant in question is, I believe, Italian.

  • Image of Witzbold Witzbold at 11:03 PM on 03/27/08 *

@Yuriko: Ah I had thought he flipped out and was talking about the spelling in the text.

Yeah and correct with your comment. Since it does say italian restaurant below in the description.
