Children Must Learn To Fear Sinistar

Children today, they're weak. Soft. Unprepared for the horrors that await them out in the big wide world. So it's good to see that someone is remembering to teach the youth of today that, when confronted by Sinistar, Dick & Jane need to forget that all that skipping and hand-holding and run for their lives (click pic for a bigger version).

There's a local owned small market near where I live. In the back there's an area with 4 arcade cabinets- I guess the store owner is a collector or gamer because there's no way he makes any money on the things. I think I'm the only person I've ever seen near the them! Anyway the third time I was in the place I still didn't know they were there.

It was pretty late, and quiet, and the owner was ringing me up as we shot the breeze. During a lull in our conversation I heard it: "I HUNGER!!". It was loud! I stopped my talking and my head shot around looking for the scource. I must have looked alarmed and excited because he looked at me and laughed a friendly laugh, then pointed to the place where the noise came from. I had not seen a Sinistar cabinet in at least 9 years, and it was funny to notice how "That Voice" still made me a bit nervous! I keep going there occasionally just to hear Sinistar during the demo. Good times, Sinistar. Good times.
