Well, not the entire thing. That would be madness. While we fully expect some group of nutjobs to pick up the slack, recreating the entirety of the original Legend of Zelda in two-tone gray, the current N+ user created stab at Zelda-nostalgia is a perfect sampling of glorious obsession. Kudos for making it difficult-looking to boot. Via GameSetWatch.

Ugh.
So nice to see some effort in N+. Thought I was doomed to play another "Halo logo map LOL!" ...
That was not bad. Not bad at all.
He almost got owned by that lazer. Good job though.
Well, that was pretty cool. Haven't played N(+) yet, so I don't know all the rules to level making. But, I think I get a general idea from this video.
wow
Holy crap! I think thats pretty bad ass!
That's great. The dungeon levels were genius, but the boss? Freaking brilliant.
But how would the Lost Woods work?
I love N+. The level editor is great, and it shows in this video. Wonderful stuff.
in big trouble with nintendo.
Amazing. Simply amazing. Kudos to the creator.
I need to get that now
This is easily one of the best things ever. It also makes me wonder why they don't use that dungeon music. I mean, that music rules.
Excellent work. This is one of the coolest maps for N+ I've seen.
they REALLY need to let us upload and download user created levels.
Wow. Both fail and win.
I didn't watch the whole video because it got tedious, but it didn't look too hard from what I saw.
But the maps were impressive looking.
Grade-A work.
Needs more color. Even if Ninja's world is Grey.
That's pretty sweet. (Official non-fanboy post)
MS suck for not letting the devs have a user content download thing in place. Now everyone's gonna have to beg that guy to be added to his friend list and have a play of the maps with him to get them...
I just saw this today. I had almost sent it in as a tip.
@Polywhirl: Let it load and then skip to the end. The dungeon looked like it took a lot more effort.
omg how much extra time do some people have on their hands?
"Grandpa? Why are you so famous?"
"I'm the one who remade Zelda in N+"
"Let me ask you again: Grandpa? Why are you so famous?"
haha beautiful yet mind-boggling that someone would actually do this :)
See, whenever people say "waste of time" I feel the need to remind them that they are commenting. On a blog. On the internet. Very productive.
I think this is pretty cool, personally. Shame this isn't downloadable/I don't have N+.
Nintendo should release this as DS DLC.
@TheCleaningGuy: Seriously. Once you get the hang of it, the levels probably start churing out rather quickly. Back in the day, I had made ASCII cartoons using HTML where I had worked it so the vertical marquee was fast enough that it looked like new frames. I could do frames rather quickly when I was doing the ASCII art.
very coool!
Looks awesome... too bad the user DL ability isn't set up too well. It'd be a great disincentive for existing users to buy inevitable official map packs, but it'd certainly add hell of a lot of replayability.
Impressive!
Video link is broken anyone got an extra link to it?
Found the original you tube link for it:
+ Watch video
That's about as cool a use for N+'s level editor as you can get. The few that said "ugh" or whatever are creeps.
That's pretty wild how much of the original Zelda map you remember at just a glance. Someday I'll have to dig out my PSP and order Patapon and N+.
Well, not the entire thing. That would be madness.
Madness? THIS...IS...HYRULE!!
Sry, I had to say that... Anyway, this is either really sad or really cool...
I'm even more impressed that this was done on the Xbox 360. I prefer the PC version far more. The fact that he was able to create and control the ninja on that system, so well, is extremely impressive. My hat goes off to you.
Fantastic. I doff my proverbial cap.
I am too scared to play this - it looks hard as HELL. But cool to look at.
That was so ridiculous, and yet so ridiculously cool.
@ThatsMrOffDutyNinja:
so, basically you clicked on the the video above? lol.
Well I guess that it was creative way of making a Zelda game. The jumping and puzzles solving could be fun, but personally I miss the general gameplay with sword waving etc.
