Okay, yes, it's nothing but colored cardboard and it's US $12 dollars for the set, but still. It's a mini arcade for the PSP. We're not sure this is even necessary (it's not), but we admire the delightfully meaningless gumption.

I want a customizable color cardboard for my DS.
It's, uh, cute and decorative. I guess when you don't have a case you can put it there when you're not playing.
Or you could buy a $12 case.
If it charged it, it might be kind of cool.
It could at least have been a coin bank.
Anyone else find it odd that "Dirt Track Rally" shows cars driving on asphault?
$13...for a cardboard box that you have to fold yourself, and they show the design to you.
It'd probably be cheaper to go to the post office, get a free box, print out your favorite arcade design, and make your own.
Actually, that's an awesome idea. I'll be right back.
With that 12 dollars, I could have bought 2 UMDs. Not like anybody still uses that anyway... :( When I had a PSP, I never even opened Spiderman 2.
@Polywhirl: Patent that Now. You can make money off the idea.
Huh.
I'm not quite sure what's more impressive: that somebody's got the cajones to charge 12 bucks for this thing or that they've actually got me considering purchasing one.
The closest thing we can get to bring back the arcade scene in America.... kind of.
i could probably do one like these for my DS in cardboard... If I could paint worth a damn.
wonder if he can cover all the psps his crappy stands will break?
nice for movies.
Yeah... this should go nicely with the last shred of dignity you might have left after the purchase O_o
@Polywhirl: Wait wait wait!!! Instead, make a cardboard PSP holder that makes it look like a Movie Theater Screen! Thus, you won't need to hold it to watch movies! (Shrugs at the idea myself, cause my PSP is region lock since I got it in China)
@AntiZERO: But hey, it's a Ceramic White PSP-1000, so I'm not complaining :)
The only thing cooler than this would be a cardboard version of a larger PSP that you could slip your system into.
What they could do to actually give it some semblance of
value is to either or both of:
1) make it a charger dock
2) widen the control panel so you can control it somewhat like the actual game.
Too damn awesome. Too bad I don't own a PSP.
Pair that with the cardboard boombox for the ipod and you'd be partying like its 1989.
That or just lock yourself back in the room and wait for 80's fashion to make a comeback.
Isn't buying a PSP itself almost pointless?
Is there any reason why the "Cosmic Intruders" box lacks a coin slot?
Oh, and KM91... never mind.
That hand is HUGE! or that PSP is very small... new sku?
(yes I know it's a bad photoshop, a very misleading one at that. stupid shitty graphics designers.... I want my shitty graphics design job back)
I'd buy it if it were made of plastic and not just cardboard.
