Sure does. March 18. Sony just said so. On the gaming side of things, it's a minor one, with only expanded "support for PlayStation Network titles" new to the table. On the internet radio side of things, though, it's a bonanza. Twenty new PSP Internet Radio players will be made available, and will now be categorised by things like genre, making your experience all the easier. The three of you who actually use internet radio on your PSP must be thrilled!

Iused the Internet Radio feature.
Hey, laugh if you will, but I do use the radio feature. Just like how I sometimes listen to live365.com, but the PSP I usually do when I'm away from home. Go figure. lol
Where's the third person? Come on, don't be scared!
@slomo788: Exactly! We won't judge you!
I like to set up myself for disappointment and I'll say that they'll actually have 1. count it ONE ps1 game on the psn store this thursday.
Me too!! Mostly for old stand-up shows.
@Luke Plunkett: Sweet... sweet lies... marmalade!
Man, I didn't even know there was a radio on the PSP! I really miss out on these things, don't I? *sign*
I use it too...>.>
I think I've used it once, it was alright, and by no means bad. I would just rather listen to my local station, or even just mp3's.
I use it to listen to "Social Crime Radio", they got some hilarious stand-up going.
I use it ALOT too!
I love my PSP too but when am I gonna get the ability to rock MKII over remote play, as well as online with that shit. That'd be tight.
Damn I must be 1337 being one of three...or i am terribly lame.
I've never gotten the radio to work. >.<
i use it. i've been keeping up with the follower of ron paul. they are nuts for the most part. now, if they could add some gaming channels.......
I USE THE RADIO!
i love the game channel!
internet radio pwns! <<
It's available now... check Network Update.
I use IR for listening to whatever station it is that streams all the OCremix stuff.
dunno why your so excited, when i had my PSP, i listened to internet radio all the time with homebrew apps.
I probably used it more then play any games.
:/
humm... well, because of this post I'm trying the radio feature for the first time. @lonesn1per: where's that game channel? :P
The first night I had my PSP, the last night of finals-meltdown, I discovered it had the internet radio function, turned it on, and it got me through the night without going too insane. Definitely a welcome feature, though it's not exactly of much use if you're not near wifi you can connect to.
I actually tried out the internet radio once. It was kinda cool... Found some station that was playing "Don't Fear (the Reaper)" and found my favorite station...
Now, if there's a way to get a local radio station's streaming broadcast on this thing, then I may use it more often.
Lemme know when 3.83 M33 is out.. ;P
I've had my PSP since launch, but I just started using the internet radio about a month ago. It's great!
I use this feature all the time! Love it! Updating now.
I have used it a few times.
See Luke, you are so wrong.
More then three people use it.
Its more like 10 people :)
I use internet radio featurez!
So where does that put me? Somewhere around the 20th?
....gah... i was hoping for something more interesting.
maybe i'm just spoiled.
I loves me some internet radio (Groove Salad FTW) on my PSP... I recently mounted it on my new worktable specifically to take advantage of the feature!

I actually use the PSP internet Radio when I get bored of my music i'm always on either JapanOradio [I think i wrote it wrong] or on Keichii
I use it to listen to my country stations.
i can honestly say i hadn't used it too much in the past but now that work has a better wireless network going, that actually spans the entire hotel plus some, I will be using it a lot more. i'm also enjoying the new stations as it's a whole lot easier to find things i actually like/want to listen to.
I only just got my PSP and I was quite impress with the internet radio feature. Sure, I couldn't find a single song I liked, but I could see it had potential. It's a nice feature to have and not worthy of the mockery, in my opinion.
I use the radio quite a bit - where else am I going to get my fix of Argentinian Salsa while I cook?
People who just listen to the same type of music all the time? You're missing a lot.
@BPM is Ready to Brawl!: First time I booted it up, it tuned in to an 80's station and played Money For Nothing. Hell yes.
How about letting me stream XM through my PSP.
@BPM is Ready to Brawl!: There's a 3.90 M33 now. Will that work for you? [www.dark-alex.org]
I use it a lot =)
Its made of much woot and win!
shoot I will use it a lot more now...woot!
can you finally add custom radio stations to the new ones?
i want to listen to my college's radio station ([www.wcpr.org]) but i can't in the current setup.
I tried the net radio feature, but it still can't catch up with the homebrew PSPRadio app from years ago. I like to, you know, choose the station I'm listening to.
Hope the PS3 doesn't get all touchy and refuse remote play if I don't take this one...
Hey, I use the Internet Radio all the time. I also have a Logitech Squeezebox partly for that, too. Were else are you gonna get your Men in Hats fix?
In other news, PSP Firmware hacked on Thursday.
I use the Internet Radio feature sometimes when I have trouble sleeping. Fire up the PSP on my nightstand while it's plugged into the AC, and listen to some trance music until I'm out like a baby.
Weird, huh?
I listen to BBC news casts all the time on my psp o.o; is that such a bad thing?!
@Pr1vate_D0nut: Wrong, it will be done and ready for download on Friday.
yeah.. I use the Intarw3bs Radio for listening when I'm on photoshoots in my studio...
It's better than blasting away and annoying people with my crazy trance music. :3
bull shit!!!!!! because they said there going to be 4.00 but instead they get 3.93 what is coming wih it one feature or two because i have been waiting for 4.00 and it comes has 3.93 well i will be happy when dark alex hurrys up with that fukin custom firmware because i been waiting ages (dark alex hurry up)
Since I would have to be near an internet access node to get online for radio with my PSP, why wouldn't I just use my PC for this?
@GOLD5:
friends house, or if your school/college has wireless, many restaurants and coffee shops have free wireless.
theres definitely occasions to use it, plus, its handy since you can walk around with it, rather than being stuck at your desk.
but you are right, for the most part, it makes more sense to just use your PC.
maybe one day they will have entire cities with free wi-fi... i think it'll happen
