Today is White Day. As I'm sure I explained last year and sure I'll explain next year, White Day is like Valentine's Day part II. On Valentine's Day in Japan, women give men chocolates. Men eat them. The end. A month later on March 14th, men return the favor and buy chocolates or whatever. The holiday was originally started by Japanese marshmallow companies to kick start marshmallow sales in like the 1970s or something. (Back then, Japanese dudes didn't really eat sweets like chocolates!) Now, nobody buys marshmallows, but rather, white chocolate.
Anyway! I didn't realize it was White Day today until they showed on the news a black cow that had been born with a heart shaped patch of white hair on its head. Wife totally forgot, too! She wasn't upset or anything. I asked her what she wanted, she said she'd think about it. It's like 10:40pm here, and she's still thinking. :/
