Ok on topic: First off, Terrans are not boring! This looks incredible. Everything from the backgrounds to troop movement, everything. I for one will buy this 1 second it's out.

I was never able to get into the first game -- I barely have the cognitive capacity to walk and chew gum -- but this is the kind of demo that will make me buy the game when it comes out despite being guaranteed to suck horribly.

Luke, I can understand pointing out the video, but was it necessary to basically copy and paste your comment from last time as well? :P

I am not sure, but I think that I am ashamed that I watched all 9 minutes of the video, and I am pretty sure I didn't blink.

@Camon: That's a shame; when I saw the "GG" at the end, I thought it was some kind of nod to Gary Gygax, and I thought "oh, how classy to recognize a guy who had such an impact on gamers around the world".

But now I find out it's a year old, so cleary it was a 'nod' to the 14-year old pimply-faced "l33t" crowd saying "good game".

This battlecruiser death animation looks so much better than the new "pop" explosion one. Hope they don't settle on that one. It looks so... well, disappointing.

I for some reason didnt catch much SC2 media after it's announcement, for the sake that I was worried it would be poor quality, or not interesting.

Well I hadn't seen it, but I gotta say that the GG at the end is awesome. Oh, and this game scares me. I hope I'm not gonna need crazy WC3 micro to be great at it. With all the abilities and whatnot. It doesn't seem like it, though.

That wasn't obscure news, it was a huge deal with thousands of views here so don't be surprised or offended if people are going to tell you that the story is a repeat. If you want to repost old news out of excitement or to give everyone a recap or whatever, especially if you hadn't seen it before, great, that's totally cool! But presenting old news as new news is sloppy. It took about five seconds to find the matching stories.

i had not seen this video before, but damn blizzard still manages to have a sense of humor and appealing to the gamer culture out there while still being very professional.

Aside from being the most beautiful strategy game I've ever seen, the gameplay balancing was amazing. Those guys at blizzard are freakin' geniuses!!

The mothership is awesome. It's interesting how the Zerg and Protoss each have a unit they can only have one of, the Queen and the Mothership.

@Pinhead: You can build multiple motherships, they changed that some time ago, and the queen is just a big worker that creates the defensive buildings, not a high tech superweapon.

The world needs another Stacraft to realize that only Koreans like micromanagement.

So the victory of macromanagements (games like SupCom, Sins, etc) is near, has the world will share the view that micro is boring grinding.

Could you imagine the mess the game would be if corpses didn't disappear? Imagine the game lasts over an hour, and you have plenty of large scale battles. The ground would be covered in crap, and it would either lag horrendously or look absolutely stupid. Unless you really want your screen to be covered in 1000000000000000000000000 zergling corpses...

For anyone wondering the Black Hole was removed from the mothership cause it was too fucking awesome. Also the terrans aren't boring, though I was more interested in the buildings then the actual units. I'm gonna out on a limb and say this game won't suck cause well they have Korea brainwashed to buy out every copy that comes out over there.
