IGN's got three different hands-on previews about the game. Ubi's also released a number of 'official' videos about the game. They're also running ads on TV.

Ubisoft certainly isn't being very quiet about it.

Oh sure they could do the right case for R6V2 and a PREVIEW of another game but when it comes to blue dragon and lost odyssey they have to fuck it all up...

Well, Ubisoft at least knows how to add an extra disc. Too bad Microsoft can't figure it out. Would have bee nice to have a 'page' for the fourth disc of Lost Odyssey instead of a paper sleeve.

yes its an rts and one of the guys on the 1up yours podcast got to play it and said that the voice commands work great even to the point were the game only listens for the commands.one of the guys said he started a command like "alpha to "he then got distracted talked to some one else ,then finished the command "to zulu" and the game recognized it.

...exactly. This friggin "not even a demo" disc gets a holder, but Lost Odyssey gets one spinel with 4 discs....

I want splitscreen battles for endwar... Sure, it doesn't make much sense, but I live in the boondocks. A co-op feature would be nice as well...

So for ONE free disc that doesn't include any game in it Rainbow 6 gets a special case. Yet Lost Odysee which has FOUR discs all of which contain the game gets all of of the discs crammed in to one spot and one in an envelope. What the hell are you doing Microsoft.

Someone help me out with this Endwar game. Voice-command? So, it comes with a headset/microphone I assume? Because I don't have one and don't really plan to get one (not much use for it yet - I never really chat via PS3).

Also; @Brian: AFAIK Ubisoft was making this Endwar sneak preview Limited-Edition only, complete with those crappy pro-gamer "tips" and that keychain thingy. But if you don't have the latter two, I guess there was a slight change of plans from Ubi. Or did you get them too?

@VanFinale: That's a crappy way to package Lost Odyssey, but keep in mind MS isn't packaging R6V2.

I doubt EndWar for the PS3 will ship with a headset. That was what the Warhawk bundle was for. But you can always find bluetooth headset really cheap online. Try Buy.Com or some such. Got a Motorola BT headset for $15.

I hear Lost Odessey has better load times than said in the reviews, is this true, I realy like the creature art (human characters and some of the environments are meh, borderline ugly).

@Draco Basileus: Yea, the issue I had with buying Warhawk retail/with headset was that I heard the bundled headset was uncomfortable & I wasn't sure if I liked the game, plus it was retailing at £40 over here. So I much rather spent ~£20 on the PSN version.

Are you satisfied with the Motorola? I might get that one then.

Thats gonna be pretty cool? end war seem like an awesome game. Most Tom Clancy games are great. I'm still cant wait for splinter cell: conviction. that game look awesome as well. all in time i say things just get sweeter.

Someone PLEASE confirm or deny that this game is being sold early at EB Games, Gamestop, etc. I would love to get in virtual vegas ASAP.

@ban_hammer: You get used to the load times (they aren't that bad), but it's the frame stutters and disc read errors that can be problematic. If you like the FF series and other JRPGs, you'll probably enjoy Lost Odyssey. If you like Mass Effect as an RPG, you probably won't like Lost Odyssey.

I can sympathize with the packaging complaint for Lost Odyssey, but with the large 3-disc spindle already in the box, I don't think a flap would've fit. Also, as someone pointed out here, this isn't a MS studios release so they shouldn't really have anything to do it.

@7ucky: thanks, but I hate disc read errors, would get them once in a while with my xbox and it annoyed me, I think I got the thompson drive. AAnd I think mass effect is a PC game through and through, as a console game I'm dislike it, you can see that the interface and style was built for a PC but fitted onto a cotroller. But I like Final fantasy, I only didn't have 3, 7 (I cry knowing I saw TRU had a full rack but I was too biased to try a 3D RPG at the time), and 11 (never liked to subscriptions).

@Truepatriot: Sounds good but unfortunately voice recognition doesn't work properly for those of us who have strong accents (Irish in my case). I always get frustrated with voice recognition phone lines.

I'm excited for R6V2 as anyone, but I'd rather have Crecente's impression of Endwar first.

If the voice recognition works like they're touting it to, then this will be the start of something good for the RTS-console platform.
