That trailer was so epic it made 300 look like a comedy.

Very nice graphics, and the game looks fun as hell.

Hope the requirements aren't too high for this game. I have faith in blizzard though, one of their strongest abilities has been to let all their games run on fairly minimal requirements.

personally i prefer C&C Generals and C&C 3 for RTS but this new game looks pretty damm good...

the only reason i even played SC was for the almighty Zerg.
god, i've been so blah on the whole SCII thing checking out units from the terran and protoss races thinking "oh, thats neat" or "hey thats nifty"

@pok514: Starcraft has 5 books. Starcraft: queen of blades is the story of Kerrigan. Starcraft Ghost: Nova is the back story of nova from the console game they were going to release. then there is a three book series of the starcraft world. There is also an eBook about Kerrigan's origin. you can see the list on Blizzard's site and I'm sure you can buy them at any book store.

@kw4k: Actually, I think that was the Queen (unit) speaking, and not Kerrigan. Doesn't quite sound like her, and the Q&A mentions that Kerrigan will be in the game, but hasn't been shown yet.. which seems to imply that the voice isn't hers.

My God, it actually brings meaning to the term "swarm". I always played zerg. Looks like I get to again.

too many units... art and presentation A+++ as usual Blizzard. Its amazing what kind of entertainment you can produce with soo much money. Wish EA could learn from this.

zerg rush ftw. It almost looks like they have a lot of this game done. Could we possibly get a release this summer? I'll be happy with christmas, but in reality I'll probably get it this time next year.

When ever more info on SC:II is released its like the world around me disappears. I kid you not, my house could have just exploded, as long as my screen kept playing I would have had no idea.

I just don´t get it why they don´t release the trailer online worldwide when first showing it, since everybody already knows it´s gonna appear on the same day wolrdwide anyways, but on a crappy webcam youtube no matter what they do.

Tbh the big thing for me on this game is the question if Korean pro league will adopt this game for its SC tournaments as a replacement for SC1. Unlike Counter Strike Source which wasnt such a big hit for pro league gamers that already played 1.6.

Incidentally, I loved the smattering of applause at the end, like they were less than thrilled. Seriously, though... it's probably too much to hope for a simultaneous Mac release. Even though back in the day they popped out the hybrid discs for Warcraft and such. C'mon Blizzard... pull through for the Mac community on launch day (in ten years)!

That had all the cheese of C&C, but with none of the tongue-in-cheek humour. LAAAAME.

But that's just talking about the story/script etc. I don't doubt the actual gameplay will be great.

I'm horrible at Starcraft because it's just too fast for me, although I'm pretty good at WC3.

I'll still be getting and and I'll be thankful I can run it natively in OS X instead of having to swap to Windows.

@Pornosaur: next year most likely since at the next blizzcon they said you can get a beta key to a new blizz game which I can only imagine is SC2. But knowing Blizz we will see it some time 2010

@Witzbold: I don't think blizz mentioned anything about a pop cap raise so I'm not really sure.
