Escape and evade looks pretty neat, if its really like that. Being chased by a sniper scope. It would be like being one of the little white guys during the gunship scene in CoD4.

It looks so cool, but the fact that he doesn't look like the Bourne in the movies still bugs me. It's a huge "up yours, Matt Damon."

I think the whole game looks really swell. Pretty good graphics, great when you consider that everything you see can be interacted with and demolished, and the camera angles are pretty sweet. I just hope it's not ridiculously frustrating due to the camera and the escape and evade section looks like cutscenes, not something I could actually control, so I wonder how that will work ??

So someone finally decided to make a game based on the Bourne franchise. It's about time, and from what I'm seeing, it looks great (even if a few gameplay mechanics featured here look lifted).

Looks like they are trying pretty hard to re-create the movie style, look, and feel in the game. Naturally, I will wait and see if this turns out like the video, but if it does this could be a good buy.

as much as i would love a great bourne game, there is no doubt in my mind that this game is going to blow chunks just as much as every other movie game that has ever been released

Hand to hand looks pretty sweet, as does everything else trailers always make games look better then they actually are heh lets hope this one atleast delivers some of what it showed. As for Rise to honor i actually found the fighting to be pretty awesome once you got the hang of it.. i was beating down 8 guys or more. But it is akward at first.

Let's hope for greatness similar to goldeneye. Way back when, after seeing commercials for goldeneye on n64, i thought the game would suck really bad. Needless to say it ended up being one of the greatest games of all time. This preview shows promise, hopefully the game will be as good as the movies.

The fighting sequences looks better than those UFC hugging, make love on the ground crap. Take that to the WWE guys.

Remember hearing that they were creating a game about the bourne movies. Also remember a statement saying that they did not want it to be released with the new movie recently released since they wanted to make the game great and not just a spin off. Was doubtful at first but seeing this gets my hopes up

Man why do people hate QTEs so much. If used sparingly and as part of a dynamic scene they can give players the illusion of carrying out actions the game mechanics normally wouldn't allow you to.

Please, tell me how in RE4 you would typically duck under a TREE wielded by some giant, climb up its back and slice at its weak point. For games where the emphasis is on one particular style of play, QTEs allow developers to work outside of the box.

I'm not advocating next generation Dragons' lair, but blindly hating on QTEs without realizing their benefits for developers is ignorant.

@baked ham: Actually, in an article I read when the game was first revealed, the developer tested out multiple Bourne models and choose the one test players liked best. I would just prefer it to be more like the movie instead of the Brosnan Conspiracy.

@MeanMF: I've thought that too with various games, Gears of War being the first notable one I can recall that I thought would be a turn-off, but after playing it I can definitely say that you really don't notice it when you're actually controlling the action, as your attention is too heavily focused elsewhere.

They brought in the fight sequence where Bourne uses the book. Just let me jab a ballpoint pen into some guy's knuckle and I'll be happy.

I loved the Bourne movies, with Identity being my favorite. Not having Matt Damon's face in the game kinda throws me a little. In my mind Matt Damon is Jason Bourne. They seem to be following the movies fairly closely, so why not go with the character model?

Did you guys ever consider the reason they didn't use Matt Damon might be:

1. Matt Damon wasn't in the books.

2. Also, it costs less.

When movies give birth to a game we should all fear a dissapointing if not a terrible movie-game. It might look good but the chances are that it will be awful, as history has shown us so many times before.

The books are terrible and aren't even close to the very good film series, I add.

Anyway, yes looking forward to this one, but hey, I might have said bout a few other games *assassins creed cough* sorry, I'm never letting that mistake go...

But I hope you can switch the slow-motion effects in hand to hand combat off. They kinda ruin the spirit of "Bourne". Being fucking fast.

In general, it needs to be faster paced (the close quarter combat). But I'm buying it for sure when it comes out.

Fight choreographer = mo-cap = limited animations = not interested.

I'm more jazzed about Splinter Cell when it comes to an action game.

I'm so convinced that the Bourne games are going to be "non-core." I'm not saying it'll be a bad game...just that it won't be a new experience.

Hand to Hand was what I was most excited about and its looks pretty good. I like what I'm seeing.
