LEGO bats, hidden traps, that whip. Was there ever any doubt that LEGO Indiana Jones was going to be spectacular? No, probably not, but it's still nice to see this amazing bit of gameplay featuring the boulder, yes the LEGO boulder.

Sold!
Now please now. Also, please make God an unlockable character for the ark-opening scene. I want to smite me some Nazis!
Total buy for me.
This might be a better game than LEGO Star Wars. Having to Force *everything* got old, quick.
I wannit.
MUST PLAY NOWWWWW
My Indiana Jones boner is tingling
Meh... Might have to play it first just like with star wars.
Looks awesome! Sold.
LEGO RULES!!! Gonna buy......
i looks more fun then lego star wars
In LEGO Star Wars there was something really satisfying about smashing things to pieces and collecting those LEGO coins.
Damn video! Now I have to buy that game.
Suggestion for next Lego game: Lego Resident Evil.
Looks great, but there's almost too much light in that boulder scene. And it also kind of ruins it with that character running with Indy. But for the sake of co-op, I guess that's necessary. Anyway, I never bought Lego Star Wars (I just played it on my little brother's DS), but this might be a potential buy for my 360, just because I love Indiana Jones so much, and because the humor in the Lego series is great. I hope the whip is an element of the platforming aspects of the game.
wow. Not only was i totally riveted to the screen (i'm sure that's close enough for a lego pun), and sold on this game... this is making me want to pick up the Complete Lego Star Wars saga too. (had the first one on PS2. Lost it somewhere).
I hope co-op puzzles like that find their way into the Lego MMO, though it might be hard with the canned communication thing they are doing.
I'll buy it just to use the whip, since it blows up everything it touches for some reason. XD
The only thing that bothers me is that whenever the whip hits something it seems to cause an explosion. They just need a whip crack sound, and maybe the sound of legos shattering.
I wonder if it will get boring like LEGO Star Wars did. Perhaps I'm just getting old.
LEGO Alfred Molina was the best part of that whole video.
Can't wait to play this!
hahahah yeah. though it was really weird to have both the LEGO Molina and the LEGO Indy both in the boulder scene. nevertheless im totally feeling this game. www.consolepatrol.com
woah, what happened with the lighting at the end there? someone left the allbright setting on.
I just showed this to my son and he, literally, stood in front of my desk with his mouth slightly agape for the whole thing... then he begged me to show him it again.
@peAr_nectAr: thats what a scene looks like when its 'not' lit yet. no lighting no shadow.
@WhiskeyJak: Resident Evil? I thought the pre-requisite for a LEGO game was that the movie starred Harrison Ford. So, what's next? These are the only ones I can think of:
American Graffiti
Apocalypse Now
Force 10 from Navarone
Patriot Games
The Fugitive
What Lies Beneath
Air Force One
Bladerunner
Heh, but meh.
lol, dr octopus
I'm gonna say it.. CUTE!
@skrame:
LEGO Apocalypse Now would be so awesome.
Not even going to watch the movies for this game.
After playing the Lego Star Wars games, they were simple - but they were just jump-in-and-play FUN. I'm sure this and Lego Batman will rock. Maybe it's just my soft spot for Lego.
(Not soft enough to write it all in caps though...)
Lego Bladerunner would kill me.
Looks like a re-skinned Lego Star Wars.
is anyone seriously going to get this?
@Microbe!:
Wow. There's a mind blowing idea...
But what does a Lego eyeball look like? I can picture the old man who makes eyes with a little paintbrush or something painting dots, hahaha...
I only wish it was out sooner so I would have more time to enjoy it before the universe as I know it stops when MGS4 comes out.
@whiptcracker: Gee ya think????
Short Round! Yesssssss.
I played this 12 years ago when it was called Crash Bandicoot.
Looks fun...let's hope they can keep the idea fresh, since this looks more or less like the Star Wars games and might get old pretty fast.
Here's my credit card, just send it too me now.
@Mr. Chip: "We called the dog Bandicoot."
I'll enjoy this for what it is since I'm a Legoholic, but please TT, find a better sound effect for punching grass. Needs more plastic.
Also, lego boulder = !menacing. Moar plz.
I'm glad most people feel like me and realize they just have to have this.
I have a fond memory of Lego Star Wars (more of the 2th than the first one). And this sounds like will be more of that. Anyway the latest scenes lighting, are a somewhat off, and the "cutscenes".. I don't really like then, looks somewhat cheap. All in all, I suspect a good game comming out of this, once stuff is finihsed (lighting!)
Cute and it will be fun, but … Yeah … I am in the "why does everything EXPLODE, when you smash something?" camp. What are video game legos made out of? Nitroglycerin?
I got a little bored with one of the Lego SW demos I played on 360. Is that a sign that these games aren't for me or was that just a 'demo thing'?
If they're really great, I vote next for ...
LEGO No Country For Old Men!!!
@Brackynews: I disagree. It needs more cowbell. MORE COWBELL!!
@Mr.SithNinja:
Considering they make a good profit off of these titles, it shouldn't be a bad thing to expect some more variety in the gameplay. If the biggest difference between the two is that in one you wear a hat and a whip and in the other you have a robe and a lightsaber, well that's kind of lazy imo.
Am I the only one who thought the gameplay looked awesome but the boulder scene left something to be desired? It just seemed a little anti-climactic.
Why did he lick that red thing after poking himself with it?
I'm not such a fan of how everything you break unleashes a gigantic explosion sound effect. I mean, really? They're plastic.
Buying on first day
I hope they fix the co-op camera. It was really bad in Lego Stars Wars to constantly get booted from the game when the 2 players were too far apart. Endor was the worst, trying to get into an AT-ST without being dragged off screen and booted.
I prefer lego Batman
@whiptcracker: Given the genre and that the games are based in a "Lego universe" it is limiting what you can do with the game play. I mean you can't completly redesign the way the characters look and move because they are supposed to be made of Legos. All Lego people have the same bodies. They are all just painted differently. I think that it is all part of the charm of the Lego games. They are a great departure from all the over the top violence of most of the other games out there. "More of the same" isn't always a bad thing. I am also looking forward to Lego Batman mainly because you can play though all the levels as the villans also, so you get 2 seperate points of view of the game and adds to the re-playability and overall goodness of the game.
@sethmad: Agreed.
