Obviously, my PS3 is black, but my white dual shock is pretty hot, and I wish my console was the same color -- not that it's a huge deal.

I might consider this color when I'll finally buy a PS3. There's so much finger traces on my friends PS3s that a white one is quite appealing !

I wanted the silver PS3 when I first saw it, then I remembered the scratches on my Silver PS2 controller. Hold on now, where am I going with this? I need sleep ;p

You know, at first it looks attractive, but damn! White would look so ugly with the rest of my electronics. I don't see how something so big and white could fit in with the rest of my entertainment set.

I mean, it works for the Wii because of it's size, but the Ps3 is pretty bulky. I'll stay with my black one.

As someone who never actually paid attention whenever he saw a PS3 in person, I'm having problems picturing how this would actually look in my setup. At first thought, I was like, "All Right, Sexy!" then I thought, "Isn't this thing like the size of an old CRT monitor? Wouldn't that look like a huge hunk of crap?"

Dang, the white one is a pretty sexy. My black one is a dust magnet, though being a 60gb, there is no way I'm giving it up.

I work at Best Buy and we got in 22 without the Spider-man 3 in the bundle. I thought it kind of sucks for anyone who was thinking about picking one up, as we're sold out of all of the rest of the PS3's.

When I read this I couldn't shake the weird, nonsensical feeling like other people having a white PS3 somehow cheapens my relationship with my black PS3.

I am in the dilemma of having a launch 60GB... I just do not want to give up the true BC. I do want the cooler chip but its such a hard thing to give up. Damn me for buying that Product Replacement Plan.

It's true... I went to at least 3 stores that sell PS3s in Toronto today, and the only ones they had left, if any, were 40GB Spidercrap versions. Fuck, I hate that movie.

@Shteve: How do your friends get fingerprints on their PS3? I set mine up on day one, and the only time I even come close to touching it is when I'm inserting a disc, or cleaning it with a static-free cloth.

:( Kinda sucks that the MGS4 PS3 bundle won't be the white one since I'd really like the white over the black but the MGS4 one is still worth it.

Except, the PS3 was announced showing off Silver, White, and Black. It was only a matter of time before all three colors were released. They did the same exact thing with the PS2.
