I hope this game is good. I'd really love a nice 4 player coop game.

Today is the day of the PS3

The game has become more interesting to me now. At first glance from its first screenshot, it seemed like just another shooter to me. Might rent it.

this game has been too many times for me to not be interested anymore. something has to blow me away before i invest into it. hmmm...on the fence on this one.

I hope its good too.

This game simply doesn't have the hype behind it to be successful. It doesn't look that "bad" to me, but it doesn't really blow me away or anything. I don't think it'll get high reviews or anything and simply won't sell.

Today?This is the YEAR of the PS3.The first of many I think.

I dearly hope that's just a generic tv ad voiceover, not the actual protagonist.

Free Radical are yet to make a bad game so this should be good.

Hrm, I am iffy on this game still. But I would be lying if that trailer didn't help fill in some plots holes I was curious about.

there's something wrong with the framerate i think... i hope the solve that in the retail version because i loved their previous games.

They shouldn't worry ... most people never get their stuff done in time, yet alone try to be at work on time.

I have a feeling this game is going to disappoint.

I've been looking forward to this game for a while. I think it's ubisoft's chance to prove to me that i shouldn't hate them for making crappy ports on the PS3

@symphony-Yeah,it sure doesn't look as smooth as their previous games(timesplitters),which ran at a silky-smooth 60fps.

@LittleBigPlaneteer: But GDC is a "developer" conference, not a game announcing platform. They maybe missed that point last year with LBP and Home.

@John-irl: Home fits with GDC, as it's a feature Sony needs developers to get behind. LBP, I dunno, sorta fits, as it's great to give an indie dev screentime like that.

I don't have any interest in this game. Too many (and better) FPS games out. I think Resistance 2 will be the only FPS I buy this year.

A delayed game can eventually be good, but a bad game is always bad.

And we're talking about games getting announced/dated now, and they have time to shine, there's not 500 other MEGATONS coming out today. Sony's pimping the press, MGS4 is getting waaay more press this week than Gears 2 imo.

Free Radical is awesome, I loved Time Splitters for PS2. I have very high expectations for this game, let's hope it delivers.

Isn't this the same game that was indefinitely postponed on the Xbox 360 so it wouldn't compete with Halo 3?

I want this game to come out!!! I go to the store to try and buy a ps3 game but there is nothing to get. Always end up buying a 360 game.. I need some co-op.. I wish it was Time Spitters but hey Haze seems cool.

@Covert_Knight: Sad about Timeshift because technically it seemed pretty impressive and had, to me, a huge fun potential if you 'played with it' instead of just following default solutions, but the story and style just seemed so bloody made for sci fi channel generic. I would love to see the kind of storytelling and design that Bioshock or Thief games have used for something like Timeshift.
Haze is a definite wait until reviews are, in for me. Nothing they've shown looks that interesting, but co-op is almost always fun.

I have had this game pre-ordered since November 2007. I was so excited back then that this game was around the corner, now it seems that the game was around at another town.

Hope the 6 month delay was for the best.

Any game that gets delayed for six months a week or two before it was supposed to be released is more than likely to have some serious issues. I was looking forward to this game - the whole drug angle appealed to me - but I don't know now. Wait and see.

Am I the only one that thought TimeSplitters was weak?

Or maybe it just took Korn six months to write their silly little song.

@LittleBigPlaneteer: Free Radical games tend to review pretty well. No telling what caused the delays, but unless its the worst thing they have ever made, it should be pretty damn good.

I wondered why Sony was silent during GDC- guess I know now.

I have been waiting for Haze because the online co-op. The problem is the

Yeah but it wasn't delayed at the 11th hour like Haze was. Haze was due in November, marketing materials released in early November proclaimed a November release, and then on November 20, "Sorry guys, 2008." And then later, "Sorry, Guys, April or maybe not."

I didn't get to play it at the games show we had in Melbourne (can't remember what it was called), but I watched some other people playing it and thought it looked pretty.

I'll pick it up if for no other reason than having another co-op shooter on my PS3.

They did this on one of the Rainbow Six games for Xbox. One more reason I fucking hate them. Their devs are great, but their QA and everything else about the company sucks ass.

Still meh for me. The designs, ugh...

@OGHowie: I was only a fan of the multiplayer, that was fun, it evoked something I hadn't felt with 4 people at a console since Goldeneye... otherwise it wasn't really that impressive.

This game is on my not sure list... Althought i must say the preview above looks fantastic. As for the comments related to the voice over? Im pretty sure like 100% that wont be in the game. Sometimes im surprised that people who always watch game videos still haven't figured out that the same voice doing the intro is never in the damn game.

im still abit cautious about this, considering the many times they have delayed. Whast with today? PS3 Day or something?
