Yay, indeed, for overpriced nostalgia items made overseas for pennies and inflated to an insane price for an undereducated consumerist society encouraged only to spend, not think.

50$ would buy me a truckload of AK-47's in many countries - or about a year's worth of rice and fruits. Ted Baker is one of the companies that pays workers something around 16 pounds (32$) a month to make these. I have a little trouble seeing them as anything more than what they are, a cynical cash grab looking to tap into the gamer demographic.
