I ahve a white DS lite and my roommate has a black DS lite. So we switched the styluses and GBA slot covers and now we both have unique black+white DS's.

That is the sexiest DSLite I have ever seen. Then again I said that for the black one... then the red and black one... then the blue and black one... Oh poor me and my launch day white DSLite :(

@Sailorcancer: Quite possibly! The DSLite is also far more practical in terms of sturdiness!

I think it looks awesome, but I would have preferred it if the exterior of the hinges were also black. To me, all black with white hinges (while closed) resembles a babboon butt.

But it can't beat the golden Legend of Zelda DS. That DS is untouchable.

I definitely still have the original DS, and I'm still happy with it. Never really understood the need to get cool looking DS'... of course I did realize the need to put ten blue lights in my PC, so perhaps I'm just from a different world. A significantly bluer one.

I'm mystified by the appreciation of this design. When closed, it looks like a laptop battery. fun!

you and me both buddy. I especially hate the speakers on the lite. Really the only feature I envy on my wife's lite is the brighter screen, but I'm used to my screen anyway.

If I only have one complaint about the DS it's the damn super high gloss finish. The super show off all your greasy finger prints as soon as you point your hands towards the damn thing finish.

I boughts myself one them NERF DS Armor things and now it's okay though yep.

Nintendo really should offer up a matte DS Lite for those of us that get sick of the slimy look you get from playing the smooth ones.

Maybe its just the lighting but the inside looks like that dead gray that the Nintendo was made out of. On the other hand, anything without that gloss is indeed a huge improvement :D

Hmm... maybe if I hold my white DS by the hinge and dip it in paint, it can look like this.

Or maybe I should try with somebody else's DS first.
