Their so silly...
I knew it! The Chimera have evolved into white plains on a computer moniter! Those heartless bastards!
12 New Chimera Enemies
Hrm.
By the way, this place actually looks fun to work.
I like muffins.
I want to work there.
Catering on Fridays? Count me in.
Near the end, the same monitor that said "12 New Chimera" reads "0708"
Could that be significant????
They have won several awards for being a great place to work. Insomniac rules
@baked ham: o_O JULY BETA!???? ... =)
0708 is also in there...
Release date of July?
I'm not sure who would be better to work for Insomniac or Naughty Dog... both seem to spend a lot of time of lesiure activities.
0708, is that the 7th of the 8th month (Or 8th of 7th month, depending on where you're from) or 7th month of 2008?
Demo date, beta date, or possible release date
@ChiZ_MacT: I'd guess 7th month of 2008. If not, then 7th of the 8th month, because Insomniac are Americans, and that's how Americans do it if I'm not mistaken.
@baked ham: I mean 8th of the 7th month . That's how Americans do it.
July or August it's looking. Sweet
Forget working there. Can I just live there?
I WILL work at Insomniac Games. One day.
EA's going to do one of these next, but it's going to end up looking like a hostage video. Filled with forced words and plenty of tears.
I so want to work there... Tried to apply for an Internship, but then i found out it would be impossible for me to coordinate this with school. Plus, I've got to work on my modeling and animating skills a bit (a lot) before I go showing off my work.
It was the guy in the suit, wasn't it?
i really want to work there :( but im going to community college. my life is awesome.
@Komrade_Kayce: EA already have a theme song, it's called "At My Job" by Dead Kennedys.
My guess would be its a hint of a July release. Damn those guys work fast.
The amount of up-fuckedness in that video is positively stunning.
i can't see people not wanting to work there +___+
I like the pop up video reference. I doubt anyone else noticed cause i mean the last time vh1 had music was almost as long as the last time mtv had music.
If only I had any programming talent :_(
times like these i wish i made video games, and lived near there
I was a guest there to play a Resistance tournament 2-3 weeks before the PS3 launch. It was okay, but the barbeque sucked, and then Ted Price tried to tell me that the SIXAXIS controller was better because it didn't rumble. I took personal offense to that (and the barbeque) so I left instead of playing. Then I got calls from the guy who invited me, but I didn't answer, and never called back.
Hm. I didn't want to work there before, but now, after the Jack Black-wannabe number, I still don't want to work there.
@yournewbuddy: You sound like a nice guest. *sarcasm*
@yournewbuddy:
You sir, are an idiot!
@EmTeeZ: Yeah, instantly reminded me of someone trying to do what Jack Black does...and failing miserably.
I swear i was the one who tipped this.
BTW July 8th is a game release day, a Tuesday. That almost guarantees that the release date is July 8th. WOOHOO!
@yournewbuddy: Wow... just wow...
Anyways, I've always had nothing but admiration for the Insomniac guys. I've listened to their Full Moon Show podcast and have played their most recent PS3 entries (finished Resistance around Jan. of '07, currently on 3rd R&CF:TOD play through) and all you get from those guys is love.
If I still had any hope at becoming a designer of some sort I'd love to work there. Hell, maybe if Insomniac needs some financial people (I currently plan to expertise in financial areas such as bookkeeping and other "Accounting" things) I could see about hooking up with them in some sort of internship.
Well, a man can dream... a man can dream...
@mishakoz: Insomniac are quick with the games, but I doubt they're that quick. They still have lots of work to do. I say it might be a beta for the 60-man multiplayer or it might be a day that is important in the game.
Well,I don't want to work there,just give me permission to past my afternoons there :P
my bet is demo
@Ahsayuni: its a tuesday,so it can't be a PSN demo.
definitely beats my current job
@mishakoz: Considering how fast those guys are I wouldn't doubt it. The Full Moon Show is still fun.
@Kj719: Isn't it insomniac tradition to realease a game every year? And if you want to get a sense at just how far along they are listen to the Full Moon Show, their podcast.
wow, that was pretty awesome...
I hate my job now :(
Fucking epic.
The song is catchy~
That song was pretty good ! I love Insomniac! This video proves that ratchet's humor is purely from their nature. The hint was kinda nice and these guys can probably pull of such great games so fast because of their great working conditions. I wish I could work there, maybe as a janitor ;)!
@Kj719: I interned at Insomniac, i know some of these guys personally. Trust me when i say that you can expect Resistance 2 by July, it wouldnt surprise me at all. The development Team is huge, they have been working on this game for at least a year and a half perhaps, and they work long days. Insomniac HQ is a lot like the Google of game development. Long hours, often rewarded by perks and other stuff mentioned in the video. I think Ratchet's release date shocked everyone too, but they made it, more of less.
on a side note i noticed that they were playing the Gametrailers Ratchet and Clank review on the screen in the beginning of the video.
That is one of the most entertaining things i've seen in a long ass time.
My favorite part was the cowbell lol.I hope it comes out july, or at least a beta or demo.I loved the first one, so im super excited for the second one.
My friend just got hired at Insomniac, I hope it's as fun as the awards and the music video make it out to be! :D
Man. I wish I took that career path in programing. This makes it look less boring.
@Genocyde: lucky friend
I love these guys and I feel like shit for missing out on the Ratchet games on the PS2. No more Insominiac, I'm buying your Resistance games and getting Tools of Destruction.
That was great! :P dont even own ANY of their games or a PS3, idc either, but great pitch nonetheless.
