Might want to turn down the volume on your computer as YouTube's sound quality is rather shrill. Hit the jump for her renditions of Takeshi no Chousenjou, Mega-Man 3 and Dynasty Warriors 3. Keep the comments clean. Or else.
Thanks, 108!

OR ELSE.... I'm not going there.
Mega-man gave me a case of the giggles. Gratz to her.
Requests: Zelda Theme... gief nowz
Awesome stuff!
There hundreds of far better musicians who cover video game music on youtube. Why this girl and not them?
yesssssssssssss
i saw her first
@108: i hope she likes me now
The Ikaruga rendition put a huge smile on my face... thanks for the good start to my day Crecente.
She IS recorder girl, particularly after being bitten by a radioactive recorder.
That's awesome.
Aw, she does Chrono Cross too!
@Ockeroid: How many of them are playing it on a recorder?
And then how many of them are doing it on a guitar?
Check out that ratio.
Gosh, I wonder at what nonsense must have taken place before that the editors need to warn people about keeping this discussion clean. Anyone that sees this as anything but charming and cute (perhaps shrill) needs help.
Is there any doubt that Mega Man has the greatest midi music of all time?
I hope we get to 20XX sometime soon...
I like this better than what I've found clicking around through hers so far:
+ Watch video
I call dibs.
I like how she put the respective Famicom cart on some of the videos on youtube.
And I thought only alcohol could melt my cold heart.
i remember playing the recorder in school (everone had to). It's pretty tough getting the high and low notes.
You know what they always say. "The quickest way to a man's heart is by playing a decent rendition of a Megaman 3 song."
And they were right.
@cyhborg:
That and your fingers cramped up pretty fast. Don't get me started on all that saliva build up *cringes*
+ Watch video
Magus theme :D
@pfive81: Think about it pfive...an asian girl playing a phallic looking instrument, and this is the interwebs. Instant recipe for ban-worthy material.
Although her playing was quite good, am I the only one whose ears it hurt to listen because the recorder was so high pitched?
IT's GONE! The videos are down.
Does her T-Shirt in the first video say "Come On It"?
we can embed videos now? when did that happen?
This made me teary eyed.
er...
maybe a more specific question would be...wth how?
Ahh... you weren't kidding about the volume thing. Scared the CRAP out of me.
no innuendos?!
whats wrong with the internets these days?
Why is it called a recorder when it doesn't record anything?
And I used to think I was weird for playing FF9 and Chrono Cross on the recorder. Ah, I could have been a slightly embarrassing internet fad too.
Kudos go to her for the mad recorder skills, but I would have much rather heard a Megaman 2 tune!
These comments are too clean! Show some defiance people! This is Kotaku!
I try not to be negative on here, especially when someone is putting forth an effort, but her attempt at Mega Man 3 music blew.
Let's keep it clean in here. Maybe she will get the opportunity to read what is said by us all.
I remember the recorder...I still have mine here somewhere. It was about 30 years ago when I got one. We sure didn't do anything cool like this. Of course, these songs didn't exist yet.
/I feel very old all of a sudden
Dammit, I don't know any of these songs... and I play gobs of games. Ah, well. High respect to her for learning the stuff, and she has a cute midsection (seriously, what the hell does she look like?).
remember kids, whenever you do anything with pinkies out, its an instant win, just look at drinkin cups o tea for example =P
Takeshi's Challenge! Hardcore!
What about Mega Man 2 - That was the best one.
@CZroe: Dr. Wiley's song! sweeettt!
now, if only Ikaruga were available on the XBLA...
/impatiently taps foot.
That was painful.
@CZroe: This one is pure win!
:D
Ultraman 7!! why didn't you put that one up on the article bashcraft? its got more tune!
D:
While entertaining and I respect her for going that far, frankly she's not all that good. Rhythm, tempo, tone quality, all rather sub par. Of course I'm rather critical of these kinda things cause I'm a musician and whatnot, but still. I guess Youtube quality kinda explains the sounds a bit.
Anyways, props to her for going that far in her love for games and music!
aye.. its a shame i dont recognize any of those game themes... never played em'... =\
well- since i dont understand the music, alls left to say is- she's pretty damn cute ^.^ lmao'
THAT WAS CLEAN
Click play on all of the streams at once! It makes your ears explode! And sounds rather like a ZX Spectrum loading.
@TinyLightning: All you need is a mouth? No, wait, please don't tell me.
@Cappy: Nice.
Ikaruga theme was pretty hardcore.
Girl's a very effective member. Else all boys on net earn recorders.
i was too busy getting my ass owned in ikaruga to notice the music... haha
just a warning here: anyone who questions and/or mocks the quality of this girl's recorder playing can and will be banned for being a horrible jerk. i'm serious. i know bashcraft's EMAIL address, people.
there should be at LEAST a thousand comments on this, people, seriously.
The way Ikaruga starts is awesome.
This is the shit, literally made my day!
@Onizuka-GTO:
He didn't put it up because it's not the same girl. Yeah, I know. It's weird that there is more than one Japanese girl on YouTube playing Megaman songs on a recorder but, well, there is.
