Artist Rolito, the man behind the stylish graphics of Patapon has produced this vinyl toy based on the upcoming PSP game. The toy, which is part of the custom BearBrick series, will be available in stores on Feb. 26th. There's no word on the price, but given the size and what I've seen of other BearBrick prices it should be around $5.99 or so. But, don't quote me on that.

haha. Hardcore. Need to get a pair of those <3
I like the patapon as an eye, that's a good effect.
i love the patapon.
something bugs me about the bear as a whole.
Pon Pon Pata Pon
Nice, can't wait for the release of the game!
it may be $5.99 in stores at release but it will be at least $50 on ebay soon after. I've been collecting Kubricks/Bearbricks for a couple years now, the vast majority have to be imported from Japan or purchased through the secondary market. Expensive...
Looks cool, though a bit creepy. I love the Loco Roco and Patapon art style.
That's semi-adorable. Why the bear, though? :\ Does that have anything to do with the game?
@Lancehead: If you got a PSP really check out Patapon, since its a rather original game. Plus the characters / animations are just too awesome.
i want it!!!!!!!!!!!!
Game looks cool, but that figure is just stupid.
yea bearbricks...I don't get them. Maybe too artsy for me. Are they good sell-after-couple-years investments?
Meh, doesnt do it for me. A full Patapon shirt like that could be sweet though.
They had a Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater BearBrick a while back. I'd like to find that.
@TheMysteriousStranger: Yeah I remember that one. I saw it at tower records a long while back.
I had always thought it was weird tower records carries those and the kubricks.
Whoa. I'm not even going to pretend to know what that is.
Am I the only one that noticed the site is actually "A little bit on the awesome side" and not "A little bit of awesome on the side"?
i dont recall seing bear on patapon game

Pssst, bearbricks aren't vinyl. Pretty cool though. For those asking they have bearbricks for just about everything, there's really no reason for them being bears.
Doesn't look that great to me =3... But I'd probably still buy it.
.
O nos, needz flame sheld!
Chaka Chaka Pata Pon!
*grabbyhands* It's so cute!
On a random trivia note, patapon translates to "to throw away" in Tagalog. The game, I wouldn't.
That thing is terrifying.
Looks more like a depressed goth teenager to me.
God I hate Bearbricks. Kubricks are awesome, but I can't stand the bear variety. They are just lame. Example:
Daft Punk Kubricks? Best thing EVER.
Daft Punk Bearbricks? Embodiment of Lucifer.
March on!
Pata Pata Pata Pon!
Hey, if you guys find a website that sells this can you make it a post on here?
@Pieman2: I did some searching earlier today when I saw this post, as I've never heard of Bearbricks but found this particular one to be quite neat.
The best result I found (for those of us in the United States) was:
rotofugi.com
It's a shop located in Chicago, so if you're in that area, you could probably go check there. They sell the individual blind boxes of Bearbricks for $4 a piece, and the shipping is only a bit over $3 for USPS first class to my location in Florida. Hopefully they'll stock this Patapon version, as I'd love to pick it up.
@Pieman2: Don DoDon DoDon! Fever!
The wat the base is i wouldn't be suprised if it would snap onto the top of my nephews' megablock set
i like how the spears make it look like its winking!
...but i don't think i'd actually buy this.
...the game on the other hand... i want badly!
My Sony rep brought this in just this week! I wouldn't let him leave the shop. I should probably untie him...
Excellent game! I must buy!
Amen
@Erwin: I hear you knocking there dude, the Kubricks are better.
but...
"Embodiment of Lucifer" I think that is a little extreme!
@cactaur: @Pieman2: @Kyle81: @Terrorsaur.:
I smells an awesome meme in the cookery.
Semi-creative, unapologetic, pandering, pseudo-sculpture. Sign me up!
patapon patapon go
Looks a bit naff to me to be honest... like an un-inspired knock off of similar kinda of stuff... looking foward to trying the game though
I have an MGS3 Bearbrick. I'll have to get this one.
* Picks up a BB gun and aims *
Patapon? Awesome
That bear? Fugly.
Looks like those knock-off legos, megablocks
