The last moments of Halo 3 were really pretty exciting. Fast driving, over-orchestrated theme music, unavoidable deaths—sure it was a bit Halo Kart, but it was an exciting conclusion all the same. But all those polygons pale in comparison to the still LEGO version. (Hit the jump and the picture goes all mega enlarged for you viewing pleasure.) I mean, it's LEGO. Sorry Bungie. It's like a geek trump card on par with light sabers and pictures of halfway attractive women showing cleavage on the internet.

Wow, that is pretty cool!
Think he'll do a modified version with the mongoose?
You mean halo1? Oh I'm sorry I so easily got confused!
Never thought of putting the flames on the flames like that. Cool Nonetheless, especially that warthog!
O.o Legos make anything and everything better.
That's awesome. I don't even recognize lego pieces anymore.
wow, they should post instructions on how to do the Warthog.
Simply epic!
@blackadvent: So can LEGOS make LEGOS even more awesome? :O
wait wait..i thought the plural form was still just "LEGO".
;)
It certainly was memorable. I thought "Hey, I remember doing this at the end of Halo 1!"
@skullivan: Holy hell! You figured out the point of the ending!
Quick! What's the meaning of life? Without your mind, our civilization will surely crumble!
If you live with a younger brother who's passionate as well as good creative with lego pieces then you've seen it all. That's cool warthog though.
Sigh, why did that little brat have to destroy my castle T_T
@skullivan: Well, I though it was funny.
Halo 3's ending, while fun and all, wasn't exactly original, and since it also reminded me of Halo 1, I walked away slightly disappointed as well.
I have to say, that last run was one of my favorite parts of Halo3. Seeing it immortalized in Lego is pretty awesome!
Can't wait until it breaks.
Sweet. The possibilites people can come up with with Lego seem endless. I was never too good with it myself as a child ^_^
-_- It never ends.
Wow there sure have added a ton of different legos since my day (keep in mind im 18). Seriously what are these greenish puke color things, and all the slanted ones? I've never seen pieces like the ones used to make the grill of the Warthog, or the Sentinels.
And on the Halo 3 ending, it was so so so disappointing. In Halo CE it was bad ass and unexpected and exciting, in fact the whole level was and is perhaps the greatest level ever made. But really, to repeat that? It took away the anxiety because you knew the end was coming and how it would happen.
The least they could have done is made the vehicle used a Mongoose as opposed to the Warthog...
I call shenanigans....if it was real there wouldn't be a platform...just a hole that you fall through....about 300 times before you finally beat it.
Wasn't it the same ending as in Halo?
Why would you want to remember the worst part of the game? Remake of the original games ending, but somehow they made it worse? Ugh. Halo 3 started good but the entire second half was a big disappointment for such a built up game.
I would like to recreate this. It's very, very cool. If only Lego pieces weren't up to like ... what? A dollar a piece now?
those flood are garbage, but the rest is awesome.
Bravo my friend! That is really awesome. Especially the Sentinels.
Halo Kart?!?!?!@? For the love of GOD, don't give them anymore ideas!
... too late...
IRT Halo1/3 endings, the fact that it was so reminiscent of Halo #1 actually made it more endearing for me. Personally, I loved it.
One of the best expressions of Lego art I've seen.
Great!
When's Lego going to buy the Halo license anyway? It's a perfect fit.
I also loved the ending. Fans cried for Halo 3 to be more like Halo 1, and it was so. And then other fans cried that it was too much like Halo 1.
Who to please?
I need to buy me some lego.
Incredible use of Lego blocks.
*Spoiler Alert*
As for the Halo 3 ending, was not the last mission known as "full circle"? Did you not begin the Halo trilogy awakening from suspended animation, and end it returning to suspended animation? Did you not awaken the flood in Halo, only to wipe it out in Halo 3? Come on people, it had to end this way.
However I do wish that the Gravemind tried a little damn harder to prevent you from escaping. Was he not trying to rebuild himself on that Halo? Why couldn't a couple giant tentacles be the element destroying the final run's landscape instead of explosions? Whats the point of having a gunner on a Warthog!? I wanted to be outrunning the reborn Gravemind, not collapsing floor.
What's done is done I suppose...and Im about to go buy a bucket of Legos.
Hahaha, that's great. Huge props to whoever it was that created that.
That's pretty neat!
@skullivan: Woah, I thought "Hey, I remember this and the level prior to this scene from Halo, and I'm a fan of the first Halo, they must be trying to appeal to me and all the otherr fans of Halo for this ending instead of the Halo haters, yay!"
@y2julio: Zomg that made my head hurt.
Ew, thats disgusting.

I hate Halo, but geeze.. this guys got more expertise in his left pinky at making Legos than this guys got as a whole.
Please do yourself a favor and check out Sabers site.
If you search there a bit more you'll find Resident Evil, Mass Effect, KOTOR, and other Vidya Gaem related Legos.
woah
