Cute story: Sit down to dinner, and Mrs. Bashcraft tells me, "Ask the kid what he played at school today?" I do, and he tells me: Today, he was playing with a group of little girls in his class during playtime. He informed us that playing Ultraman and Dragon Ball Z were getting "boring." The girls were playing house, apparently.
"Ask him who he was," she says.
I ask him if he was the father, he says "no."
The brother?
No.
The baby?
No.
Then, the sister?
No.
The mother? The grandmother? The grandfather?
He shakes his head several times.
"Tell Daddy," Mrs. Bashcraft says, trying to suppress laughter. The kid leans close and whispers in my ear: "The dog. I was the dog."
