Meh, I don't have an Xbox, but those deals look pretty good. The only Circuit City I know of is pretty far, and the Best Buy here doesn't have much selection. Makes me wish the Wii got some good third party titles...

I remember seeing someone pick-up their pre-order of Conan on the PS3 at a Gamestop a few months back. I had to keep myself from bursting out laughing.

Gaming is starting to get slightly expensive for me at this point and I can't warrant paying $60 for a new game when a majority of the more popular titles on the next-gen systems drop in price (or go on sale) in less than 3 months. Amazon is the way to go anyways when it comes to videgames. I've picked up some ridiculous deals on games there.

I will definitely pick up DMC4 but not for a few months. MGS4 on the otherhand... =)

i don't like shopping at best buy and circuit city, since i can stand to wait for shipping in the mail if newegg has free shipping on a game i want ill shop that way because there is no tax for my area and its generally cheaper than regular retail to begin with.

Not too shabby, I've already got Halo 3, but might go ahead and lay a reserve down for DMC4 at CC. I think I'll wait for some reviews of Turok before I go out of my way to buy it, considering its last iteration was god-awful. Shame too, Turok during the N64 era was awesome. I've got high hopes for this one, though.

Halo per se does not suck. That said, I personally have no use for any FPS played with a gamepad. Why does that make you want to kick me in my nuts?

As an FYI - They actually take $10 the cost of DMC4 and then you also buy a $10 gift card at regular price. So you're getting a $50 dollar game and buying yourself 10 bucks of credit that you probably would end up spending anyways.

and they give you free shipping..... so not a bad deal providing i get the game around release date.

I own Halo 3.. and.. it does suck. Majorly. Of Course, lots of things suck when compared to the wonder that is "MASS EFFECT".

@duckmouth: No, unfortunately my Xbox is in McAllen, TX. at the repair center right now. I live in Texas, so I'm hoping to get it back here within the next few days. It only took two days to get there according to my tracking number.

@NinjaBurg3r: It is terrible. Do yourself a favour and avoid it. It was generic, the AI is poor, guns feel like pea-shooters, graphics are crap, scenery unimaginative.

It evoked painful memories of the Hour Of Victory demo (and if that doesn't put you off then nothing will!).

And just what can you buy for $10 at BestBuy? Yeah. Thought so. But what they want you to buy is something for $60 and now it's $50! Wow! What a deal! /.sarcasm

Strangely, I've had more than one American customer tell me the Canadian EB Games has lower prices than the US Gamestop. I'd be really curious to find out if this is true.

interesting. It says 22 bucks off on the site, but if you follow the link it still charges full price. Either that or Best buy normaly sells Halo 3 for 81.99. All the other discounts work fine, just not that one.

@Murrytmds: Same problem here, I can look up my local ad and it says $37.99, but when I go to buy it, it comes up $59.99. Maybe it's in store only or something.

If thats the case i wonder why the website has the discount listed and as a link to the product no less. Maybe that someone just forgot to change it.

count me as one of the five, ahaha. i've realized i have to stop buying all the titles i want as soon as they're released. it's having an effect on my wallet. since i want ALOT, i figured i'd buy the small name titles and wait for the big name titles to drop price (as they're more than likely to do so due to good sales). i know this may not be the cause for the drop in price, but its moments like these that my plan seems to work. my logic seems silly, i know... i guess i'll be getting it!

i got the halo 3 deal and i preordered DMC 4. Apparently the staff didnt know how to take preorders, which then took them 10 minutes to figure out which three buttons to push. But a $10 certificate is worth the wait.

@ARboom: I don't like FPS in general unless they're doing something new with the genre, like TF2 did.

Halo 3 I've played and - honestly - it's nothing new. It's Halo 1 and Halo 2 merged together and a story which is finalized. It's more of the same.

I don't need INNOVASHUN in order for me to play a game, but eh, I'm just tired of hearing about Halo and everything that goes along with it. The Xbox fanbase is simply terrible to deal with.

I count around 20 people that are pretty pathetic right now. Enjoy the games you want to enjoy people...if you do that then I don't have to read your comments. That's a win-win in my book.
