While I love Croshaw's latest review, this one of The Witcher, I wasn't so delighted with the bit of comedy machinima slapped on to the end. It was, I hope, just an experiment and one we won't see more of anytime soon. Fortunately The Review of The Witcher has a wonderful punchline and mentions washing gimps, so I'll forgive him his indulgence.

Like the end as well.
I loved the Mumorpege word :D
"20 minutes. Outside. Puffer fish."
Gold, Jerry, gold.
Speak for yourself, Brian. I thought the Painkiller re-dub was pretty funny.
Does simply putting new dialog on a pre-rendered cut-scene qualify as machinima?
Aw, I kind of liked the Painkiller bit at the end.
My boss is sitting about 6 feet from me. I would imagine he wouldn't appreciate me watching this at work.
;;>_>

The bit at the end was the best bit
Witcher Redub was indeed awesome. I look forward to seeing more redubbed (bad)game cutscenes.
Wha? The end part was hilarious! I hope we get some other intros messed with soon : D
I quite liked the ending, actually, as I thought it was a good jab at an otherwise dull intro. What was it that you didn't like about it?
I really liked that bit at the end, actually. Though it might be best served as it's own thing than as attached to Zero Punctuation reviews.
I liked the Painkiller redubbing. It's a neat direction to take Ben's talents in, so long as we're not missing out on the reviews of course.
It wasn't as funny as the main review, but it wasn't terrible.
I give the bit at the end an IGN 7.0
I'm glad I was at home for watching this one. I was laughing pretty hard. Definitely one of his good ones.
Puffer fish.
That was awesome. The review was better than some of his more recent ones.
Yahtzee's gone mad with powah!
The bit at the end was great!.
I think SOMEONE is a little ealous-jay of Yahtzee's opularity-pay.
Why do we, the SUPERIOR PC race, always have to be depicted with beards?
Muhmorpehger has got to be the best new word of the year.
I thougth that the ending was great as well. Yahtzee does it again!
20 minutes...out front....puffer fish.
It wasn't as good as the review but still funny.
Brian! how could you not like that?! That was fantastic stuff!!
awww i thought that last part was awesome!
The ending was... ok... could improve. Brian, you are all alone, I fear...
harsh review. even for yahtzee
I haven't played The Witcher but one of my friend likes this game very much so I wasn't expecting a total blast from Yahtzee ! In the few previous ones he sometimes gave positive points to the games but he didn't gave a chance to The Witcher ! Great one !
Witcher is pure awesomenes. So awesome, is incredible in the first part.
I don't know why you don't like it; it's perfectly funny.
i liked the review a lot. the end bit was alright.
I thought the last bit was hilarious.
"alright then, how about I just suck you off?"
"What did you just say to me?"
"This trophy here is first place for the Queen's Cocksucking contest. The judges said I was like a vaccuum cleaner with a pufferfish at the end. Meet out front in twenty minutes for the greatest thirty seconds of your life!"
I struggled to to stop from bursting out in laughter.
I chuckled at the end but at the same time if I wanted that I would go find that. Though I did enjoy "Now I just have to figure out if that was a man or a woman."
I'm loving The Witcher though but he's right on a couple points especially that it just keeps going and going to where it drags. Still the best RPG that at least tries to be more traditional PC RPG in style, but it really gets me excited for what Bioware's going to be able to do with the engine in Dragon Age.
lol I liked the machinima bit.
"20 minutes. Outside. Puffer fish."
Best line of the whole review.
The ending wasn't bad... not great, but not bad either. Gave me a few chuckles.
I keep on Yahtzee awesomeness hasn't peaked. These reviews just aren't as classic as I remember and the lil Painkiller better not be for real serious (unless Yahtzee is planning on reviewing how horrible it was and then laughing about it later).
I agree with the apparent majority here.
The last bit wasn't as fantastic as the review, but it was a good deal off from being particularly bad.
Good stuff.
Crecente, I'm with you on the machinima part. I don't think it was terrible, but compared to the razor-sharp wit he uses on his reviews, it came off as a bit flat.
"I came to the striking realization that this is a MUHMORPEHGER!"

Dunno why you didnt like the machinima part...it was funny.
@Mpalm.: I Agree, best line ever

it was funny until his obligitory 'gay' jokes kicked in. is it possible for him to do a review WITHOUT a homophobic jibe? he seems capable enough to replace them with something funnier.
I thought the ending wasn't particularly impressive. More sort of a dumb-immature than a smart-immature I'm used to in his reviews.
i'm with crecente on this one. the end killed it! i should have pressed stop when the credits rolled as the review (or should i say first impression, lol) was hilarious
I didn't think the machinima was that bad and since replies are baroque'd, I just have to manually affirm that I too believe the "20 minutes. Outside. Puffer fish..." line was pretty damn funny!
@MrSoursop:
As long as they are funny, who cares?
Anyways, the end was good except it was kinda meh hearing him do both voices. He should write it and get someone else to help with the voices.
I agree with the other commenters here about the dubbed video at the end. It was funnier than you made it out to be.
@Norellicus:
LMAO Muhmorpehger, I love Yahtzee
He should stick to his original gimmick.
@Leptok: When you reach a certain age they aren't so funny anymore :)
As far as humour goes it's scraping the barrel. But I suppose he has a majority of teenagers to amuse..
Am I the only person who got bored of this guy after seeing maybe two of his videos?
I really don't see what all the hub-bub is about.
