OK, no more screwin' around. No more pics of Marcus hiding in a dark, dark closet. No more shots of Cole standing proudly in the midnight rain. Action Figure Xpress have started pre-orders for the figures, and blown NECA's cover by posting clear, finished shots of all three figures, including the hitherto-unseen Locust Drone. They're listing a release date of April.

Looks pretty cool, although Marcus appears to have sprayed the front of his Lancer orange?
naw i think thats supposed to be blood splatter on the lancer
....Must...buy..these. . . . NOW! ! !
@photoboy: It is red and is blood. Adjust "screen" or "eyes" :P
They look nice, but I don't buy these things so I don't really care.
Hurray for steroids!!!
OUCH!!!
Total buy, I just hope they're available at normal retail, at an acceptable price.
$200!!? F that. I'll wait till they're available at toywiz.
dang these look badass- hopefully they are not an arm and a leg
Holy shit, these look totally kickass.
Coletrain needs a button labelled "Press and hear me rap".
they look pretty good, but Marcus and Cole need a little touching up
Cole Train!!! woooo!
Pretty cool looking, but still didn't like the game. If it was an fps it would have been great, but I'm really getting tired of this over the shoulder crap.
$30/ea.
@rebelphoenix:
Actually I'm quite tired of FPS and looking for over the shoulder. What other 360 games are gears-style?
@rebelphoenix: Due to the cover system and dodge mechanics a first-person view would not have worked well. Take Rare's Perfect Dark Zero as an example of why a first-person view would have been very bad. If you prefer a traditional FPS with a cover system, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas series nails this pretty well.
On a related note the figures look great but the pricing only promotes buyers to play them all on eBay for $25 each. More information on where to purchase them individually would be great.
I hope they don't all come with just Lancers. I want my Marcus using the weapons I used, Shotgun and Longshot.
$190!!! They maybe kewl but not for $190, all three should be like $50 at the most.
@mikecoscia: Opps never mind didn't realize it was for 14 of them.
...man-pretzels.
@mikecoscia: Also, I think that is just for that website. Hopefully there'll be reasonably priced individual figures.
OOooh now I can see em!
just like any other mcfarlane toy. Duh.
I don't quite get why it's a pack of 14..
"This case of 14 figures may include duplicates of some or all figures."
Hmmm, I just want them separately :(
I wish they were the same size as the original GI Joe dolls from way back when. Almost 200 bucks for the set though? I can't justify spending that much.
@Anaardvark: It comes with all the weapons and all.
Also, is it just me, or are these figures supposed to look even more cartoony then the game? Just look at Marcus' and Cole's heads compared to real screenshots. They look like caricatures.
oh very nice. i will definitly get marcus.
If you guys liked GOW, you need to check out Kill Switch by NAMCO for the original Xbox (it's also BC for the 360). In fact, this game and Resident Evil 4 inspired some of the game mechanics in GOW such as constant cover and over the shoulder POV.
That looks cool.
Those are nice detailed toys.. err I mean action figures. Too bad i'm not a complete dork - I would definitely would consider buying those for my bedroom shelf.
They look bad ass, the price? Not so much!
Too spoiled by the McFarlane affordable prices!
@dude360:
The price is for 14 0f the figures; Not 1 of each. Since they're by NECA, I'll assume they will be priced similarly to their RE4 figures (15$).
Nice detailing.
I want Fenix to have a leg holster like he does in the game.
W00! YEAH BABY THIS MY KIND OF SH*T!!
What no Baird? I'm sure there's room for one more it's a fucking party down here. ;-)
They don't look so great. I think they can do better.
I must get Cole.
