It's real. That is a real show that airs in the wee hours of the morning every day. They usually talk about paranormal things, government conspiracies, etc, so it's no surprise that the host took this as a 'legit' call.

@Ratfoot: It's not the same guy. Art Bell, who used to do the show and also appeared in Prey, retired a few years ago.

I can't wait till the day that games like Half-life will be so revered as an artform that failing to understand a reference to such games will be a major faux paus.

Mark my words....Half-life will be the "Citizen Kane" of the future: the game praised as being the greatest classic in Video Game history.

I actually just finished Episode 2 like, 3 hours ago, so this was especially brilliant. However, if I could make a complaint, I find it highly unlikely that a theoretical physicist like Dr. Freeman would ever use the word 'mystical' to describe anything.

Seriously... you hear some of the CRAZIEST freaks on this show. Everything from UFO abductees to ghost hunters to people that believe that they are the reincarnated being of Napoleon. It's amazing how many crazy people are out there.

I'm playing Half-Life 2:Episode 2 right now and I'm laughing so. This is amazing.

I love coast to coast, One night when I was listening a woman called in saying she had solved what UFO's really were. Turns out it was Jesus coming and picking up his people. That show is great for 2 am food runs.

Oh man, that was awesome! I would be laughing too hard and be terribly embarrassed trying to pull off something like that.

I still haven't played the game (too much other games i still have to finish), but just being vaguely familiar with the game i though this was funny. People should call into radioshows and do this stuff more often.

I think it's a bit presumptuous to say the host "totally fell for it". I've heard this show before and people come on and say the craziest dumb shit like an american indian who hung out with an elf who bought him drinks (real call) and I think he just says "ok well you keep us up to date" to get them to go away quickly and keep the show moving along. If he said "you're a liar stfu gtfo" to every crazy person who called the show would be 15 minutes long.

because I'm not familiar with the show I was positive as soon as he said "portal technology" the guy was gonna call shannagins but seeing all the crazy stuff posters here say people call in with on that radio show no wonder.

Oh this is so made of win. I love C2Cam, I try to listen all the time. I knew I should have fucking tuned in this week. I miss such funny stuff.

The same people call as different people all the time and I am 90 percent sure that all or most of the "callers" are staff actors sticking to a "story" that a staff writer came up with. The show is for entertainment purposes.
