When Brian first told me what I was going to be doing, I'll admit I was a little overwhelmed at the thought of going through potentially hundreds of photos, and making them presentable for all the world to see. But now I understand why Crecente called the first gallery his "labour of love". It was really exciting getting hear from you guys and receiving stories about your gaming setups from all over the world. I'm a little sad I couldn't include all the great stories you guys provided me with, but I think many of these pictures speak for themselves.
I hope you all enjoy looking through these galleries as much as I enjoyed putting them together!
(Just a head's up: I have added ALL of your photos - at least all the people who sent me their country - but you may not see them on the main gallery page, as it will only display the first fifty. But don't worry! Click through the gallery, and you'll find your photo!)

Wow great job! Must have taken a lot work to piece this all together.
Wow some really nice ones there, interesting post. Thanks Kotaku for including mine :D
Wow i just skimmed through it, but some people have some amazing set ups. Only if i had a bigger t.v Mine is the 2nd row middle one in the states. Sorry for the bad picture.
Yay! All hail my Persona 3 setup :D
Damn... some people have some really nice TVs...
Wow that canuk with the 134in projector, lol...
Is it too late to submit mine? Totally forgot about this...
Hell yeah! My desk made it in!
[kotaku.com]
Oh mine is the one in 3rd row middle of Canada :D...
Mine too bwhahaha
[kotaku.com]
Mine: 14th Row, far right.
WOO, Last row on the left in USA.
Son of a... I knew I forgot to do something before I left town.
Mine's the last of the England group, go me!
Was too lazy to send mine in. Even more so since its nothing special. :D
Dammit I forgot!
Is it too late to send a pic???
Damn, I was hoping for some strange reason it would be posted under the guise Witzbold, you know...to keep the mystique going :P
It's funny to see the similarities of the different rooms, gaming wise.
I really love that Super Nintendo sign in Sam's photo. Also loving the background in Duophonix's picture- super cool.
P.S. Ace to to see Wales representing on Kotaku :D
lol, i like how my pic managed to be horizontal even though its a vertical picture. mine is totally unworthy next to everyone else's. nice stuff everyone!
Wow, all of the shots of the US rooms versus the other countries reveal just how much more space we have in this country. We've got some really HUGE rooms compared to a lot of other people.
Nice, mine made it in, in all its craptastic glory.
Hehehe, mine's only one in Wales. =D
well I'm a little sad I was included (USA) but I do feel better knowing that my setup (sad as it is) isn't worst out there. I think I beat out Teh_Joe by a nosehair.
Nice Super Nes sign :)
Oh and I'm so jealous of some of you guys TV's and PC monitors :( Not for the quality, but the size :P
I need to grow a few inches...
Also, no one from Sweden? I really should send a pic of my rig, and TV+games set up. But I'm too much of a chicken :D
wow....I'm really amazed I didn't see some bigger TV sets....now I want to send a pic of my rig!
I need that Mask of the Phantasm poster....
Duophonix... your obscenely large screen INFURIATES me.
Wish my camera wasn't in France right now.
Mine's in there too, cool :)
It's not too great, but then again I'm a poor college student :P
[kotaku.com]
aw man. i wish i sent my pic. oh well maybe next time
Damn I wish I had my theater/game room ready when this all took place. Wont be ready for another 2 weeks or so. Great setups everyone!
Everyone seems to have tidied up. Well almost everyone.
Also whoever's the German with the green light at the back must be blind by now.
And kudos to the guy with the SNES sign.
@Witzbold: You should send it, mine its very basic as well, but what the hell, the curious thing about mine is that a month ago it was a freaking mess, and i cleaned up just in time to take those pics XD...
I wish you guys had given us a bit more time, I was just about ready to send over a pic of our painted Pac-Man inspired gaming room... :\
@JayrodT:
Hehe, I love that poster I got it from a friend of mine who works for WB :)
Great pics so far! I have to get home before I can look through them all.
show offs lol
Wow on that US one with the theater seating and intranet cafe style back row...
I would have sent mine in but it isn't terribly exciting. Nobody wants to see stacks of white and brown boxes (although I'm sure most "geeks and nerds" would love to carry away those boxes).
Can't wait to get my own place (well I have one, just needs to get built first, move in date is sometime in 2011). I have the den planned out as my "geek out spot" for my figures, toys and such (trying to keep it confined to a small space). The living room will just be a nice sleek entertainment center full of bookshelves of games. I think my collection is nearing (or perhaps surpased) the 400 game mark (with games dating back to the NES).
@Wolfkin: you should've seen it a couple of week's ago before that television. it was worse. it's not so much of a gaming set-up as it is a TV with a Wii and PS2.
@Candlejack: I think your setup looks great man :)
B1ooDshOt FTW because it's got everything you need and women wouldn't be embarressed/uncomfortable in that room.
Lot's of 360 HD DVD drives too :(
@Irenicus-the one and only: Heh thanks, probably the MGS4 trailer playing on the screen knocks it up a few notches! lol :D
Did you submit yours too?
MrFapFap wins for having two copies of "God Hand"
comments on the individual pics don't seem to be uploading. just looked through all the US ones, and my fav has to be Joshua: A Designer's Loft.
[kotaku.com] - Too awesome.
Mine is simple but I'm proud of it: [kotaku.com]
Here's the tour, counter-clockwise from center right:
Samsung HD Tube
PA comic, "What the eff"
Original Conan print I made in high school art class.
Guitars & Wiimotes.
Wii60 + Gamecube (dedicated Smash machine)
Cheese Balls (best controller bin ever)
DVDs, DS Phatty, Binder O Games
Stealth PS2 and severe fire hazard.
Thanks for looking!
woot, there's mine!
[kotaku.com]
I made it in too!
8th row, 1st image.
Wow, I liked everyones!
I especially liked Kyle's wrap around image he used. The jamma cabinet housing the TV is really cool. [kotaku.com]
Duophonix's setup is simple, and putting himself in the image made me laugh a bit. [kotaku.com]
Mani has a nice simple setup that caught my eye. [kotaku.com]
I really cant comment on every one, but the obvious ones that stand out are shindokie [kotaku.com], randy [kotaku.com], theirishninja [kotaku.com], gus, ed, adolfo, damnit, im not linking every picture at this point. I liked all the international setups outside of the strange Spain one, just seemed a little out of place. You guys pretty much all have awesome setups that I can be jealous of!
:-)
Thanks Kotaku for doing this!
Its interesting to see how many gamers are not actually playing in HD. There's a lot of 4x3 tvs in there. I think I even saw a 13"... man, those were the days.
I want to show mines as well how do I add it to the list.
Thanks for staring into "the worlds smallest house". 410 square feet, FTW! (it's not an apartment, it's an actual house)
Lots of nice set-ups here. I'm buying stock in LCD/Plasma TV's
Only time i will ever get a HDTV is when i im forced to get one if a console only allows you to play it with a hdtv. Meanwhile only 60% of gamers would probley have a SDTV and 40% would have HDTV whatever so thirs no rushat the end of the day
@Candlejack: I'm too scared to do it lol I feel shame for not having the courage :(
@the_sideburns: I love your hanging remotes... I think I might have to implement that idea somewhere...
@sadkermit: I'm such an idiot, I thought Witz compiled this. Sorry for any confusion caused.
