That looks like its made of so much win. THe graphics is something to get use to but with all those kicks i dont mind.
Well despite the old footage, the music was pretty kickin.
Hmmm....Is anybody else as excited as I am for Ken and Ryu Exaggerated Faces Fighting Game as I am?
I don't mind the mash-up, but why does every single screenshot or piece of footage have to be about Ken and Ryu?
It's like they don't care about the other characters?
PS: My fake title is still shorter than some official ones.
@Kirbytheslayer: Proud Norwegian Defense Force Supporter: I think the exaggerated faces are cool. =(
Some new gameplay footage in there as well as animation. (Hurricane kicks). Also looks like Ryu does some canceling in one of the clips. Cr. Strong into St. Strong xx Hadouken.
Famitsu has a bunch of new screenshots posted as well.

Character models appear to be a bit more refined since the 1up videos. Kotaku needs to post the picture of Ryu's eyes popping out for their next SFIV update. That one made me LOL hard.
You also get a better look at Crimson Viper, which in my opinion isn't so much a ripoff of an SNK character but of Janet Jackson.
@Kirbytheslayer: Proud Norwegian Defense Force Supporter: Agreed, I WANT TO SEE DIFFERENT PEOPLE PUNCHING EACH OTHER DAMMIT!
check out my SPARTAN version...

it will be great
looks great, but I still wish it looked less...bulky. Ryu's face in particular I'd like to look more like Alpha.
But hey! It's Street Fighter, if the gameplay is sweet enough I'll be playing this a lot.
I really don't know what excites me more: SFIV or RE:Degeneration (Claaaiiiire <3). I would sell my first-born to Capcom for no reason at all!
They probably don't have animations of the other characters as refined as these yet. Though even these are still rough around the edges.
Go for the eyes, Boo, go for the eyes! :)
@dunetiger: RE degeneration? Waaaah? O_O
It's so Pringles!!
I feel like the fighting game that actually has a bear in it (i.e., Tekken) should have been the one to break out the phrase "The hibernation ends soon" in its trailer.
...on second thought, never mind. Actually, no one should have uttered that phrase. It's a bit terrifying. It almost seems like the bears are waking up... to take over the human race. And damned if they can't succeed.
Can anybody else not help but think you're looking at the Super Mario Strikers logo everytime you see the new Street Fighter IV logo? =/
I saw this video at 1up and they were calling it a Fan Made Trailer. Odd.
Either way, it looks ace.
I was hoping for a game more like Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike but mybe it will come close
I think they don't have any other characters ready yet at least not as far as they have come with these guys =).
Though I love how they keept the style of the sound, the sound from the hits. No other game has that.
Two minor things about the graphics annoy me:
a) lack of anti-aliasing on the character models
b) the collision seems to have lost that 2D edge. when the characters collide, it reminds me of SF:EX Plus Alpha - and not in a good way.
Though it looks good artisticaly, I still worry about it while playing (visualy).
The actual fighting seems solid enough from what we've been given.
Of course should this turn out poorly, I'll still have Street Fighter 3.
Does anyone else think Ken's trousers make him look like the Michelin Man?
The animation still lacks the 'oomph' factor. The brief pauses when hits connect just doesn't feel right.
Okay Capcom... guess who's sick of seeing Ryu and Ken. Time for Chun and Cammy already.
Not that I'm not looking forward to the game, but why the hell are we being flooded with media for it when they've said they're "only 5% finished" with it? It sounds like the game might not even make it out in 2008, so why bother until it's a lot closer?
Anyone else agree that they're reminded of Street Fighter EX, but with a graphical face-lift and added speed. Not too excited till I see more, Capcom has been able to botch franchises before. BTW can they please get rid of Ken's "Prince Valiant," haircut, bring back his pony tail from the alpha series. I'm just saying medieval mullets are not cutting it in '08.
Right now, the fighting has kind of a stop motion quality to them. Maybe that's because it's still in development. I hope the moves are more fluid when new videos pop up.
@DankPanties:
You're so right! I love Ryu and Ken, but why do they get all the love? We know the developers have tested some Sonic Booms, Spinning Bird kicks and whatnot for their 2d/3d game.

@YotaruVegeta:
From what I know, the reason they're showing Ryu and Ken aside from the other ones is because they're the most "finished" compared to all the other ones (relatively speaking).
I also suspect that 1up may have videos of the other characters in motion and is holding them off 'til the time is ripe (ie more site hits etc.)
I'm really starting to dig this. Sure some of the animations and graphics are a bit off but that's expected coming from a build this early.
Makes me nostalgic and remember the days when I played SFII at arcades and got my ass beaten repeatedly. That is until I learned Guile's Magic Throw,Blackout and other stuff...=)
im warming up to this title. fighting looks solid. and graphics are looking great. interested to see more fighters and stages. might get people even more hyped.
Ther graphics look nicer in this footage, richer colors.
Capcom better be working for a late 2008 release!
I'm so looking fwd to this game.
2 questions:
1. Will there be a multiplayer support?
2. What platform will this be released on?
@huhwhat:
The point was to make the game play exactly like the classics. If you'd play Street Fighter 2 Turbo on the SNES, you'd have exactly the same waiting time between punches, and I pretty much like that. I'm just not fast enough for fighting games like Marvel vs. Capcom, I can barely follow what happens on the screen.
