I don't understand the obsession over high definition. I don't need to magnify down to the molecule in order to get the blurred action sequences or jist of the story.

And as for porn, everyone just gets extremely low definition for free off the internet, does their business and moves on. If you need high definition, there's something wrong with you.

I watched the edited version of Pirates one night at a friend's house. Alcohol was the only thing that got us to make it through the first 30 minutes before we finally fast forwarded through the rest of the "film". We then watched the unedited version. Either way both are a strong case for why porn shouldn't have a story. I think the Blu-ray and HD versions will be a good case for why porn shouldn't be in high definition. The "stars" of the "film" already look plastic and greasy enough on regular DVD.

This movie was great. I cant believe i said that. But it is true. After downloading it and watching it i was shocked . I give it an 8 out of 10. Now i have to see it on blu-ray. Hope it is good. Maybe too much detail. Ladies u bette hide dem scars.

Pirates also has absolutely loathsome acting (except by Evan Stone), and ridiculously grainy picture quality for an HD title. Still, the costumes and sets are nice.

There is only one scene that I would be interested in on BD. For those who have seen this movie already, its the scene with Jenaveve Jolie and Carmen Luvana :). Other than that I didn't find the movie interesting.

I heard that movie has some killer lesbian scenes. I haven't seen them though, so I don't know. Seriously, no joking. Maybe I'll confirm that later though...

i hadn't watched a dirty movie in over 20yrs, so i downloaded the hi-def wmv version of this 'pirates' movie, not much on story or plot, but man can that short little good looking blonde chick swallow a rooster....

Ah Pirates! Me and the misses love that movie, good stuff. This isn't terribly good news for HD-DVD, but DP is one of the bigger folks who could afford the cost on this, although at this point anyone who even buys porn owns that movie.

Holy crap, I remember the uproar near me when it was revealed that it was filmed on the fake HMS Bounty tourist trap. Of couse they filmed the pornographic scenes somewhere else and the film became porn because of a need for money, but you can't talk to self-righteous parents, can you?
What the hell do they put on three discs though? Deleted scenes? Extended scenes? More porn in general? I want to see bloopers and cast commentary.
