Some of the more casual fashion friendly types at Kotaku Tower aren't just into t-shirts and sneakers—some of us like fitted caps, too. So when Namco teams up with cap experts New Era for a line of Pac-Man fitteds, we expect great things. Oh wait, it's Namco. Expect run of the mill things. The Namco X New Era line looks to have dropped in Japan recently, a limited edition trio of wool baseball caps that feature Pac-Man, Inky, Blinky and Pinky. Each will set fans back 6090 yen (about $55 USD). More hats, more pics, at Fuctard's online store.

sweet, one for me please!
Oh great, just what we needed. Getting capped in a drive-by by some knob gangsta' wearing a packman hat. Please remove the damn sticker.
Nice, too bad im not a hat guy
....Fifty-five dollars for a... baseball... cap?
Do you get twenty of them, or something?
I'd buy one if they weren't so expensive and I wore hats.
I'd buy one:
1. If they weren't $55
2. If the bills weren't made to stay flat.
Flat bills look fscking stupid.
@HarrisonHopkins: baseball players curve the bills. You can do the same. I do it as well.
Heh. considering the other fitted caps go for 35-40, its not THAT much.
But considering you can buy a regular hat for like 7 bucks, yeah its kinda like WTF.
I have 3 fitted hats though lol, and this one would look like a nice addition.
I think I have a crazy thing for hats, I bought an ushanka, and I want to buy a real raccoon hat.
Agreed. No more flat billed hats, it makes no sense. Also, who in their right mind would buy from a website called that? You'd trust your credit card with them?!
@y2julio: Yeah, because their hats are made to be curved. These however, are meant to be flat.
WTF kinda name is "Fuctard"???
Wow, that is way too much, but I like them. I also bend the bills if they are straight, but good caps are curved naturally. I have been curving my hats for at least 20 years (I remember having a straight bill was popular in my area for a while in the 80s), but the best caps I own were all pre-curved. Good looking designs though.
Hmm. Fuctard. How quaint.
Remember, you can't take the shiny sticker off.
@kingofallcosmos: Flat billed caps are big in the hip-hop/urban scene.
@HarrisonHopkins: All my New Era caps come flat billed but I curve them slightly into the curve I like.
@argh: Haha, oh wow. You're probably right. This is automatically fail now.
Why can't we just leave the tags in caps like the red blooded Americans who are trying to be hip that we are?!
this will go great with my Donkey Kong "Everday I'm Hustlin" XXXL tee
@y2julio:
Now that you mention it, I remember a short time in the 90s where I wore caps that looked like I had just bought them and a jacket with the pricetag still on. That was awful and I didn't do that for very long.
>^,^This hat is so much cuter though... but I guess these ones would probably be less embarrassing to wear around public.
-.- blast, left out a "
I meant this hat
(what ever did happen to that spiffy insta-see-your-text box?...)
WTF? Where's Clyde?
That is such a winner. Definitely a winner in my book.
Finally, Another worthy cap in my collection.
50 bucks is fine, I threw a hundred for the limited nerdswithswag.com's NE Five-four cap.
Definitely worth every penny.
5950's are played out.
@Fyren: Mmm. Hats are sweet. And I'd have to agree with the 50 bucks ain't no thang. But a chiken wang. ha ha.
No seriously, that hat is awesome. Ok - so let's say you pay $55 for a hat. How long does it last? 1-4 years depending on how well you take care of it and/or if you've passed puberty.
At one year that's 15 cents a day to wear your sweet new cap. That's cheap in my books, at least relative to length of enjoyment.
Word.
Schmee!
I really did fall back on my chair when i saw these. I'm totally in love with them.
must have! now!
For $55, the hat better play fucking Pacman. Ms. Pacman, too.
$55?!
I have a thing for hats so im getting this. I have probably 4-5 NE hats and paying 50 dollars for one isnt much.
Different strokes for different folks. Some people pay 100+ doll hairs for some kicks, so its really not much different.
"Excuse me, can you tell me where Fuctard is?"
"yeah, just hang a right at Cock Teez, and it's halfway down the block next to Hot Pussy."
@mindinrewind: He's probably on the back...
...bein' slow.
@HarrisonHopkins:
The bills don't stay flat if you wrap em around a tumbler with a pair of rubberbands, or just get a cap curver.
I collect quite a few of New Era's 59fifty caps and I curve the bills of all of mine.
They aren't "meant" to stay flat if you don't want them to be. Most baseball players curve theirs, and they feel much more comfortable once you do that, too.
Yeah, these caps cost upwards of 25 dollars, with some going for as much as 75+, but they're damn well worth it if you like the fashion (as I do).
I tried ordering them from Fuctard but it seems that they don't ship outside of Japan. Ouch! I need another venue to get these. Anyone?
so heres a question anyone have any idea how to order to the usa?
my japanese skills are how you say...non existent.
@SolInvictus: that weird about shipping since on the top of the page it says "we can ship world wide" XD i hope theres another place to get these=(
I'd buy the cherry one, but then I'd laugh at myself everytime that I looked in the mirror because I spent $55 on a hat.
Wait, screw hats, I want that cherry on a shirt! I wonder if I could do that myself...
55 dollars no thanks!
I WANT TO BUY!!!!
but not in my size ;_; (Size 8)!
I'm not nearly gangsta enough to wear these hats. I be country yo.
