I've also heard the same of the Commodore64.

If I were the website designer for Nintendo, for 'shits and giggles' (as Kotaku likes to say) I would just post a teensy pic of the Sony PSX in one of those empty boxes.

Yeah, I guess I shouldn't be getting my hopes up for the Saturn. Wanting doesn't make it so, otherwise we'd all learn to want harder and I can already want quite vigorously TYVM.

@Deus_EpS: Dreamcast would be sweet (and popular with a select crowd), although I don't think the Wii is powerful enough, and secondly the 512mb of storage space wouldn't be enough for most DC games. Maybe something Sony or Microsoft could do on their consoles though.

I hope it's the Saturn. It's the one system I missed out on that I kind of wish I hadn't. My roommate has it and says nothing but good things about it. I'd be down to pick up a virtual copy of Panzer Dragoon, Guardian Heroes, and Nights.

My guess for the other console is either the Commodore 64 or Atari Jaguar.

It would probably make sense if they rolled out with the original 8 bit gameboy. Seeing how there is very limited memory space in the Wii. Either the 8bit or the Gameboy Color, those two are a sure bet.

The Wii just got updated to download stuff to the DS, Right? (demos, vids)

Now, IF one of the two consoles turns out to be the GC/GBC/GBA, the games should be small enough to send wirelesly to the DS.

And while there at it, they should do the same for the NES.

If it's any disk based console, I'd be shocked. The system has only 512MB memory and from when I last checked, saving game channels to SD didn't work.

@cyberg4: The Wii is powerful enough... are you trying to say the Wii couldn't handle the Dreamcast?... That's just sad... They'd need a Hard Drive to do Dreamcast I think... I dunno how big the games were on average.

If you do a little clicking you'll see that one of the new systems is the MSX.

People saying Dreamcast need to get something straight; with the Wii only having 512MB of flash memory, putting a games that on multiple occasions pushed the limits of their 1.2GB GD-Roms will be difficult.

The other system is the MSX people. THE FREAKING MSX.

Geez, it's only been confirmed since 2006 and reconfirmed again back in February. It'll be coming to Japan in summer 07. And yeah, the Master System is the other one most likely.

@Heyyou27: That is true, but the Wii does support SD cards. Perhaps they would add the stipulation that Dreamcast VC games require an SD card.

I'll just keep on dreaming until we know for sure... no pun intended.
