The company has removed from the game the phrase "Allahu Akbar"—meaning God is great!—at the urging of the Council on American-Islamic Relations and other interested parties. The phrase, heard in the above video just prior to a monkey tribe drinking delicious soup from skulls.

A spokesperson for CAIR wrote that it "appreciated Capcom's willingness to address Muslim concerns and applaud the company's swift and appropriate actions." Then everyone involved returned to applying soothing balms and salves to hypersensitive areas.
