This kind of thing doesn't happen often, so Europe and Australia, savour the news like a soft, warm chocolate biscuit: you're getting the new PSP Slim before Japan are. While Japan gets the new PSP-2000 on September 20, you'll be getting it "early September", according to SCEE boss David Reeves. It'll be €169 (no announcement on Aussie price yet), and unless Reeves has his earlys and lates all mixed up you should be getting your hands on it in the first week or so of September. Course, the early launch is probably because you're not getting anything special, like extra colours or some kind of Star Wars tie-in (at least yet), but hey. That gift horse over there? Don't look at its mouth. It'll get upset.
