We have a great deal of faith in Peter Moore's ability to keynote. He seems like the kind of executive that I personally wouldn't mind getting plastered with in my spare time, just so we could casually talk football and the gaming biz. We also believe that the introduction of a Halo 3 branded Xbox 360 will be very successful. However, combining the two failed to light a fire under the attendees of Microsoft's E3 2007 press conference attendees. What was surely thrilling to the "Halo Nation" equaled a very untimely, rather unauthentic "Whoo!" from the crowd... along with a few titters. This is kind of stuff that we love to save for posterity.
