Safe bet we'll be hearing more about GTA IV over the next few days. No matter. You're going to hear more about it right now. The latest issue of Games TM contains a preview of the game, which lets us in on how some of the multiplayer stoushes are going to go down. Seems there'll be a 1v1 deathmatch mode, like an inverse Crackdown, where players must first track each other down before seeing each other off.
While this mode relies on the players first locating each other on the map, if one player manages to reach a seven-star wanted level their location will be instantly revealed. Also mentioned in the preview is the fact the game will have its own internet, Niko can buy weapons via his mobile phone and, bestest of all, shaking the fuzz is now a lot more realistic. If you park your car in a dark alley and can swap vehicles with nobody seeing you, you'll be in the clear. At least with the law. Sadly nothing will clear your blood-stained conscience.
