Well, Namco Bandai. Took your sweet time. Despite picking up the license three years ago, they've only just gotten around to announcing and showing off an Afro Samurai Game, saying it's due in 2008.

And...that's about all we know. Gamedaily have seen a trailer, and even spoken to Namco Bandai about the game, but can only offer two "shoulds" and a "may" as to how the game will play. Me, I'd eat all kinds of hats if it wasn't a generic third-person slasher, perhaps cel-shaded, with licensed voice talent and soundtrack. Course, a kart game/dating sim is always possible, just not...probable. Luke Plunkett
