Indie game Fret Nice recently won the Best Game Concept prize at the Swedish Game Awards for its "innovative use of control."
The game, a 2D-platformer for the PC, uses a Guitar Hero controller to jump, shoot, and swing, all with a rockin' soundtrack, apparently. This is the kind of concept that makes me weep with joy, confuses publishing executives with its brilliance, and would ultimately see dismal sales. I demand a console port, like, yesterday.
Slightly more details about the game are here, at the Swedish Game Awards site.
